We Have One Job!

We have one job, to cry the good news from the rooftop and in the town squares across the world!

Mark 16

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

This is the Gospel Of Christ, the Good News!

John 3

And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:

15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

From the mouth of the Messiah, the Son of God!  He commanded us to spread this gospel to all the world!  No one took His life, He gave it freely.  Jesus knew from the beginning what His mission was.  He didnt rebel, He didn’t think Himself better or higher than the Father as Satan did.  He left His throne to come to earth to take our sin and wash it white!  So we may live eternally!

A web site I saw recently, had an article that ripped this message, the good news wide open, with one simple statement straight from a demon.  (Remember we were warned of doctrines from demons) As you know, Christ sealed His message on the cross with 2 statements as He hung dying for our sin.  He said “Father forgive them, for they know not what they do.”  He knew they didn’t believe or know who He was.  He told the thief hanging next to Him who asked Jesus to remember Him “today you will be with me in paradise.”   Many have tried to twist the statement to the thief even prominent tele-evangelists by saying that Christ didnt mean today you’ll be in paradise(this would blow their theory of scripture).  They said a comma should have been inserted after today changing the meaning to sometime in the future, you’ll be with me.  But none shook me to my core like the article citing Christ’s forgive them  for they know not  what they do did.  It literally caused me to tremble.  In one fatal swoop they destroyed the entire Gospel and Christs sacrifice for all, jew, greek and gentile alike.  They said that old manuscripts were translated wrong.  Committing blaspheme they said what Christ really said was: “father forgive them not for they know what they do.”  It caused my very soul to tremble!  This destroyed the whole Gospel of Christ in one fatal swoop.

The good news has not changed throughout the ages.  Its still the same!  Christ, born of the virgin Mary, died and rose again as a sacrifice for our sin.  And He’s coming back!  Only this time He’s returning as the Lion of the tribe of Judah!  And we can escape His wrath and live etrnally in His kingdom!  What great news!  This is the Gospel of Christ.  Come quickly Lord Jesus!

I AM NOT ASHAMED OF THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST!
