Now, I’ve heard everything.  Now prophecy is about to be complete.  The world has decided that Israel is not Israel and Jerusalem is not in Israel, now the Supreme court of the US will decide if this is true.  What in the world does the Supreme Court of the US have to do with someone born in Jerusalem, lsrael saying that they were born in Israel?  As you can see from the map above Jerusalem is Israel.  What this really means is that the world will divide God’s land, and this is just one step in the thrust to do just that.  Jerusalem is the city that our Lord and Savior was crucified in, he spent His ministry there witnessing to the Jews of the day, and He will return there.  God is clear that this is His land and will never be divided again, yet the world is hard at work defying God.

Zechariah 12:3

And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.

What is it about this tiny piece of land that has the world captivated and intent on controlling?

Zechariah 8:23

Thus saith the LORD of hosts; In those days it shall come to pass, that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you: for we have heard that God is with you.

The Mount of Olives just east of old Jerusalem is where Jesus ascended into heaven, and has been the site for Christian worship since ancient times.  This is the home of the tombs of the prophets and thousands of Jewish people.

From Biblical times until the present, Jews have been buried on the Mount of Olives. The necropolis on the southern ridge, the location of the modern village of Silwan, was the burial place of Jerusalem’s most important citizens in the period of the Biblical kings.   There are an estimated 150,000 graves on the Mount, including tombs traditionally associated with Zechariah and Absalom. On the upper slope, the traditional Tomb of the Prophets Haggai, Zechariah and Malachi is situated. Notable rabbis buried on the mount include Chaim ibn Attarand others from the 15th-century to present.

Jerusalem is the city of David.   The City of David is the Israeli name for an ancient core of settlement in Jerusalem dating back to the Bronze Age. and which is now a major archaeological site. Wikipedia

Jesus is from the bloodline of King David.  So yes, it is only fitting that satan will want to control this area, this area rich in truth and history.  Satan wants his seat here.

Isaiah 14:12-14

“How you have fallen from heaven, O star of the morning, son of the dawn! You have been cut down to the earth, You who have weakened the nations! But you said in your heart, ‘I will ascend to heaven; I will raise my throne above the stars of God, And I will sit on the mount of assembly In the recesses of the north.  ‘I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.’…

Jesus will return here.  “And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east…….”(Zechariah 14:4)

It doesn’t matter what man wants or what man thinks, God is in control, He is on the Throne and His word and commands, His Supreme will, will reign.  Not’s man’s.
