According to the Huffington Post : The Washington National Cathedral will hold a special service Wednesday night to celebrate the Supreme Court rulings that struck down the federal Defense of Marriage Act and the California proposition banning gay marriage.

“Today’s rulings announce a new era for our country, one in which married lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender Americans can finally enjoy the same federal recognition and protection that our laws have for so long extended to their fellow citizens,” said Rev. Gary Hall, the dean of the National Cathedral, in a press  release Wednesday.

I don’t even know where to begin.   God is stirring my soul, telling me to cry out in the face of adversity about sin, and our Nation.  Today in the highest court in our Land the Supreme Court slapped our founding fathers, our churches, all Christians in the face and said, away with you, a marriage between a man and a woman is unconstitutional.  You can’t say it’s sin, you can’t pray in public, you can’t mention Jesus’s name in public, and you can’t speak out about homosexuality being against your religious beliefs because it’s hate speech.  But they can curse, mock and spit on us, and we’re ringing Church bells to honor this?  Do you think the Angels are rejoicing in Heaven today because our leaders say it’s ok to promote sodomy and sexual perversion?  No, they are in sackcloth and ashes begging God not to destroy us.

Here is the definition of Sodomy according to wikipedia:  Sodomy /ˈsɒdəmi/ is any non-penile/vaginal copulation-like act, such as oral or anal sex, or sex between a person and an animal.  The word is derived from the story of Sodom and Gomorrah in chapters 18 and 19 of the Book of Genesis in the Bible.So-called “sodomy laws” in many countries criminalized not only these behaviors, but other disfavored sexual activities as well, but in the Western world, many of these laws have been overturned, or are not routinely enforced.

Deuteronomy 23:17-18  ‘There shall be no ritual ‘harlot’ of the daughters of Israel, or a ‘perverted one of the sons of Israel.  You shall not bring the wages of a harlot or the price of a dog to the house of the Lord your God for any vowed offering for both of these are an abomination to the Lord your God.’

Jude 1:5-7  ‘But I want to remind you though you once knew this, that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who did not believe.  And the angels who did not keep their proper domain, but left their own abode, He has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of the great day;  as Sodom and Gomorrah and the cities around them in a similar manner to these, having given themselves over to SEXUAL IMMORALITY and gone after STRANGE FLESH, reject authority and speak evil of dignitaries.’

1Corinthians 5:9-13  ‘I wrote to you in my epistle not to keep company with sexually immoral people.  Yet I certainly did not mean with the sexually immoral people of this world, or with the covetous or extortioners, or idolaters, since then you would need to go out of the world.  But now I have written to you not to keep company with anyone named a brother who is sexually immoral, or covetous, or an idolater or a reviler or a drunkard or an extortioner-not even to eat with such a person.  For what have I to do with judging those also who are outside?  Do you not judge those who are inside?  But those who are outside God judges.  Therefore put away from yourselves the evil person.’

Now does that sound like we should as Christians and churches be affirming and celebrating with homosexuality, sodomy and sexual perversion?  WAKE UP!  What we have done is an abomination to God.  If you think He is not listening, or He is up there with all the Angels singing and celebrating that we on earth have finally affirmed sexual perversion than you need to be on your knees repenting.  And I’ve heard all the arguments in favor of this, you can not twist the Bible to fit today and today’s sin!  The Bible and God’s word stands as is.  Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever.  ‘Heaven and earth will pass away but my words remain forever.’  If anyone takes away from this book or changes anything, the plagues listed will be added to you, and your place will be blotted out from the book of life.(Revelation 22:18) The Bible is not a how to manual that becomes outdated and needs revision!  It stands for all time! You don’t get to rewrite the ending just because you don’t like it.  You don’t get to edit and rewrite it just to make it fit!   This is the word I received today from the Lord:

Jeremiah 7:16  God was speaking to Jeremiah a watchman:  ‘Therefore do not pray for this people, nor lift up a cry or prayer for them, not make intercession to me; for I will not hear you.  Do you not see what they do?’

Satan and his followers have drawn a line in the sand for God, and the followers of Christ.  This is prophesied.  I also hear the words of the Angel in Revelation, saying ‘Let there be no more delay.’   And ‘Come up out of her my people!’  It’s time to separate from the world and it’s sin.  It’s time to choose, Who will you serve?  Man or God?
