He Is Risen

As Christians, today we emerge from the darkest time in the history of the world, victorious and joyous!  He is risen just as he said.  Good Friday marked a day of sorrow and death for Christians, even the disciples couldn’t fully understand that Christ gave His life so they could live.
The darkness of His time had no idea Christ was the Son of God, they fell prey to Satan’s call for Christ’s death, had they and satan known, they never would have crucified the Son of God!
On that dark day Christ took on the sins of the world, its unfathomable the pain he endured for humanity.  As they laid Him to rest they had no idea of the fight that ensued in the dark spiritual world.  He conquered death! He went into the bowels of hell and brought many back from death with Him! They appeared to thousands in Jerusalem.  (Matthew 27:53) Even the Centurion with Christ after witnessing the earthquakes, the rendering of the curtain and ressurection of the saints at the moment of  His death said “truly this was the Son of God”!

Christ said “destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days! (John 2:19) And He did just that.
He is risen, and He’s coming again to snatch His Kingdom from the grasp of Satan.
He said “what I say to one I say to all watch!”
He ended His Revelation with this declaration:
Revelation 12:20
He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon.”

Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.

21 The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God’s people. Amen.
