The Torch Has Been Passed Will You Carry It?

It was JFK who said let the world know the torch of freedom has been handed to a new generation. That applies today. Only there are those who have been instrumental in extinguishing it. We are allowing the evils in the world to invade our very existence. Many are shouting take back our country.
When I say take back our Country. I don’t mean armed resistance or violence like the oxmoronic antifa or BLM. Look back, maybe your too young to remember or blocked it from memory, but the Bible Belt used to be a force to be reckoned with.
The voice of God thundered through the Bible Belt. Candidates for all offices even Presidential candidates sought not only advice but backing from them. I think back to Clinton and how concerned some were, even democrats that Clinton move to the center and gain backing from religious leaders in the Bible Belt. George W. Bush rose in popularity with this sought after group.
But through the decades the government has sought to use this to prevent churches from voicing or advocating political beliefs. While vile, repugnant groups like Planned Parenthood became more powerful than God’s church. One by one churches went silent. Favoring money over God’s truth in word. Favored money over biblical values. Until we see what we have today. Whole churches falling to values of the antichrist. Favoring and justifying abortion or their silence on abortion. I have been told by pastors that they can’t speak of abortion or homosexuality or gender changes because they would lose members. Again more concerned about numbers and money than the truth of God. Because of this slide into worldly doctrine the Bible Belt has been silenced and rendered ineffective. Used only to mock God. And that was only the beginning, they have now pushed forward to censor, ban and even arrest God’s Pastors. They have used the CCP plague to close churches and persecute Christians. They openly declare us enemies of the state.
There has been a great awakening these last months and I believe God is shaking His church awake to garner his remnant. But the fall and silence of some churches have tightened their resistance against God.
I’m considering alot of things. I have researched and sought out groups online and community that fight for conservative Christian values. I have found 3 so far. I’ll post more about that later. Right now you have two choices bury your head in the sand and hope the storm passes or get involved and save our voice that they think they have silenced. God will make a way. Ban together with likeminded people. We each have gifts to use use them now. We are in danger of not only letting the torch of freedom go out but most importantly were allowing the light of God to be extinguished here and in the world. Take a stand and stand firm. Buy oil for the torch of God’s light and freedom. Listen with ears to hear and speak boldly unashamed and fearless. May God give each of us strength, courage and the wisdom of Solomon.
