For God So Loved The World!

Christ knew His mission from the beginning. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. “ (John 3:16)

Christ spent His last days from Palm Sunday to Holy Thursday preparing His Disciples for what was to come. He cleansed the Temple and left clear instructions in Mathew for us as to what will transpire before His return.

His last hours were spent praying for us, at Passover He instructed how to remember Him with communion.

Mark 14

22 And as they did eat, Jesus took bread, and blessed, and brake it, and gave to them, and said, Take, eat: this is my body.

23 And he took the cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them: and they all drank of it.

24 And he said unto them, This is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many.

25 Verily I say unto you, I will drink no more of the fruit of the vine, until that day that I drink it new in the kingdom of God.

It is this that we celebrate His resurrection and gift to the world. It is Gods love for a dying and ungrateful world we celebrate. It is Christ’s love for us we celebrate. Christ himself said no eye can see what my Father has prepared for you. I go to prepare a place for you. For in my Fathers House are many Mansions. No matter how the world reels and totters, no matter what plagues rage or wars ensue, we have no fear! We are winners! We are winners either way. Have a Blessed Easter/Resurrection day and remember there is nothing that can snatch us away from Christ except denial and unbelief! Take His hand, focus on Him!
