This is the day we celebrate Christ’s triumphal entry into Jerusalem.
Luke 19
“ ‘Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the Lord!’
Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!”
This also fulfilled a prophecy about Christ.
Zechariah 9:9
“Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.”
Pause for a moment today and reflect on the gift given us by God. He sent His Son as the ultimate sacrifice so all who believe would have eternal life. He truly is King of Kings!
This has never been more important than it is today, as Christ is denied by so many. Could this be why His sacrifice is denied by so many? His triumphant entry into a city claimed by those who deny Christ’s death and resurrection? A religion that denies the Jewish Homeland, denies Christ’s deity, denies the sacrifice made by Christ, and sits atop Gods Holy Mountain declaring itself above God almighty, the God of Abraham,Isaac and Jacob, The Great I Am. This too is prophesied.
Glory to God in the Highest!
