Whether we are being afflicted by others or are in trouble by something else we are never alone when God is in our life.He hears the cry of those who seek Him.When people turn from God and cause others pain it is then the cry of those afflicted God will make His presence known!(Job 34:21-29). 21 For his eyes are upon the ways of man, and he seeth all his goings.22 There is no darkness, nor shadow of death, where the workers of iniquity may hide themselves.23 For he will not lay upon man more than right; that he should enter into judgment with God.24 He shall break in pieces mighty men without number, and set others in their stead.25 Therefore he knoweth their works, and he overturneth them in the night, so that they are destroyed.26 He striketh them as wicked men in the open sight of others;27 Because they turned back from him, and would not consider any of his ways:28 So that they cause the cry of the poor to come unto him, and he heareth the cry of the afflicted.29 When he giveth quietness, who then can make trouble? and when he hideth his face, who then can behold him? whether it be done against a nation, or against a man only:
Oh what despair Jonah must of felt when he was in the great fish’s belly,yet in the depth of his despair cried unto God and was heard!(Jonah 2:1-7). Then Jonah prayed unto the Lord his God out of the fish’s belly,2 And said, I cried by reason of mine affliction unto the Lord, and he heard me; out of the belly of hell cried I, and thou heardest my voice.3 For thou hadst cast me into the deep, in the midst of the seas; and the floods compassed me about: all thy billows and thy waves passed over me.4 Then I said, I am cast out of thy sight; yet I will look again toward thy holy temple.5 The waters compassed me about, even to the soul: the depth closed me round about, the weeds were wrapped about my head.6 I went down to the bottoms of the mountains; the earth with her bars was about me for ever: yet hast thou brought up my life from corruption, O Lord my God.7 When my soul fainted within me I remembered the Lord: and my prayer came in unto thee, into thine holy temple.
Psalm 31:22-24
22 For I said in my haste, I am cut off from before thine eyes: nevertheless thou heardest the voice of my supplications when I cried unto thee.23 O love the Lord, all ye his saints: for the Lord preserveth the faithful, and plentifully rewardeth the proud doer.24 Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the Lord.
