At the times when we feel God is far away and distant it is good to know He is ever near and is on our side(Psalm 118:5-7). 5 I called upon the Lord in distress: the Lord answered me, and set me in a large place.6 The Lord is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?7 The Lord taketh my part with them that help me: therefore shall I see my desire upon them that hate me.
God knew us even before we were formed in our mothers womb, this shows us just how much He loves and cares to know us before we were created!(Romans 8:28-31). 28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
