Satan deals a lifeshattering fatal blow yet again to Christ’s Shepards.

For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies. Matthew 15:19

Satan and his minions do indeed have voices.  As another article pointed out this week, learn to know when he speaks.  He speaks to us with condemnation, reminding of the past, telling us we’re not good enough, or with voices of temptation clouding our judgements.  You can and must learn how to combat him, his lying schemes and temptations.

This week another Pastor was charged with rape of a minor.  My heart sank.  But to compound this he said it wasnt rape, it was consensual.  And if that wasnt enough it supposedly occurred in Gods house.  He is not the first, nor sadly will be the last.  Keep his family in your prayers.  We are not condemning him, God will judge him.  But at the least it shows how weak we are, how vulnerable we are to satan’s schemes.  Learn his voice, learn what darkness his lies and empty promises bring.  Learn to fight him with the armor God gave us.  Jesus when confronted by satan quoted scripture and simply said “It is written….” (Mathew 4:4)

Satan doesnt want the unbeliever except to use them to wreak havoc on the unsuspecting.  He has their souls.  He wants the believer, he wants the body of Christ and the shepherd.  And he will devour those who aren’t wide awake.

We are hearing more and more of pastors and priests who are raping and demoralizing young boys and girls. As many are becoming discouraged and falling away from the church, we must realize the meaning of what Jesus meant when He said to the Jews to destroy their temple that had been standing for forty six years, and that He would rebuild it in three days! Now is the time to learn what He was talking about as He said the “Temple of His body”.

When He died He would draw unto Him a body of believers through the Holy Spirit that He promised to send when He returned to His Father. It was then the true spiritual church began to be built. We through His spirit are the spiritual church and are the temple of God with Christ as the chief corner stone chosen of God as we read in the following passages.

1 Peter 2:4-10⁴ To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious,⁵ Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.⁶ Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded.⁷ Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner,⁸ And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.⁹ But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;¹⁰ Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.  2 Corinthians 6:14-18
