Why does the Church sleep while persecution and tribulation rage around it? A question begging for an answer. Political correctness and satanic influence has overtaken the Western Church. There is one measuring stick found in Revelation by which you can measure sleeping churches. And it’s in Revelation 2: 2 I know your deeds,your hard work and your perseverance. I know that you cannot tolerate wicked people, that you have tested those who claim to be apostles but are not, and have found them false. 3 You have persevered and have endured hardships for my name, and have not grown weary.
Has the new improved church and it’s new and improved worship services pushed away wickedness? Have they tested those who claim to be Apostles? Have they endured hardships for Christ’s name and not grown weary? Western churches have failed miserably, but the Persecuted Church is rising. The persecuted church know’s what time it is, they know what’s happening. But America? I fear it will overtake the church here in shock and dis-belief.
In the last year alone there has been a major increase in earth changes and severe either never before seen or not in 100 year weather patterns. From Hurricanes and aftermath to earthquakes and volcanoes. In the last month 2 volcanoes have become active causing loss of life and property. In the last month flooding has wreaked havoc along the North East Coast. unbelievable images emerge on a daily basis. Suicide rates are up even with the rich and famous.
A few months ago while the South was experiencing one of the coldest winters on record, we were talking, studying and praying over all the strange changes, and we were led to Revelation. We got the impression that this summer was to be the days spoken of in Revelation, about the sun scorching men. We felt this would be our summer, not only in America but across the world. And now the experts are predicting scorching weather this summer. All the signs are present. And no one seems to be paying attention except those of us who are watching. Although almost everyone knows something is happening, they don’t know what. I find this very disheartening for Christians especially. Since we are commanded to know the seasons and to watch and wait for our Lord’s return. Demonic activity, possession and influence are increasing. And still they don’t acknowledge.
An article surfaced yesterday from the Western Journal titled “How Christians Can Help Churches in Volcano-Plagued Hawaii.” It was written by “Desiring God” a pastor there. It’s a heart breaking article on the destruction that has taken place. But this Pastor is requesting prayer also for a spiritual revival. He talks about the suicide of one of his employees. Heartbreaking. He states that officials and all are uniting. He say’s this: “While fear, crime and loss spread, we also have seen much potential for spiritual revival. The churches here have a remarkable spirit of unity, generosity and partnership.” He also speaks of the longtime sins and abuses in the hyper-sexual and drug-infused communities and the hedonistic retreats and spiritual centers along with cults that were decimated by lava and prays for hidden strongholds of abuse to not return. His prayer list includes asking for strength, and boldness to witness, Perseverance in ministry and a revival. America’s sins are piling all the way to Heaven, and it is not un-noticed by God. Guatemala has had similar destruction causing at least 200 deaths and hundreds missing. They had no warning and watched as loved ones were buried in ash, mud and lava. So many earth changes. So much devastation. Lately it was reported that in one region of the world, hail was as big as a football. Let that sink in. It’s in God’s word, throughout His word.
Psalm 148:8 Fire and hail, snow and mist, stormy wind fulfilling His word!
Nahum 1:3 The Lord is slow to anger and great in power, and the Lord will by no means clear the guilty. His way is in whirlwind and storm, and the clouds are the dust of His feet.
Job 37:9 From it’s chamber comes the whirlwind and cold from the scattering winds.
Isaiah 29:6 You will be visited by the Lord of hosts with thunder and with earthquake and great noisee, with whirlwind and tempest and the flame of a devouring fire.
Luke 21:1 There will be great earthquakes, and in various places famines and pestilences. And there will be terrors and great signs from Heaven.
We do not have to look far to see that the fear of God is not in the hearts of men as it should be. from the taking away of the sacred union of marriage of one man and one woman to the incredbile loss of life through abortions, we see God’s just ways are not even an option to many!
So we must ask ourselves with all the increase in sever eather conditions and the viewing of massive changing of the earth’s landscape is ther really no sign of God’s judgement in the earth? Can God truly stand bak and not move His hand? We are given many examples in scripture of God showing Himself when people live for their will and not His. We see it in the flood with Noah and the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah (2 Peter 2:1-9.
Have we grown so callous and dumbed down that we can’t recognize the seasons and the time? It’s time for Churches everywhere to turn down the worship music, drop to their knees and repent and pray for our brethren experiencing tribulation!

I Am Not Ashamed Of The Gospel Of Christ!

Seen your latest post, Prophetic Pages of God’s Word-Roadmaps to Endure Tribulation.
The Lord has impressed on me for some time now to pray these words taken from Acts 4 for “his” saints here on this earth. We are called to be a light unto the world, salt upon this earth and walk as he did. He has also said to me not to focus on what others are doing but to walk close to him in prayer and supplication and be watchful as it is written.
As I am lead in the Holy Spirit these words come forth amongst others.
Acts 4:29-30 And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word, By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus.
I finish this note with Psalm 62.
