Prayer Is Essential In This Warfare

Yesterday I read an article from Yahoo News about a prominent Psychiatrist in New York, who was helping the Catholic Church and Exorcist identify Demonic Possession VS Psychiatric disorders. The article made me realize that Demonic influence and possession was indeed on the rise. The article explained that these demons were very intelligent, and likened them to the fallen angels spoken of in the Bible. In fact that’s what they were called in this article. He gave instances of demonic possession in those who belong to satanic cults. Witch covens can be in this category, even though many identify as “white witches.” One thing that rang clear was that satan and his fallen angels or demons use weakness and darkness in us to control, influence and even possess us. There are specific things they look for, and in extreme cases speaking in foreign languages is a top symptom. But it’s my opinion, that they can inhabit those with bitterness, hatred and deception in their hearts. They use these to strike out at us. No one is exempt from their attacks. Spiritual battles are raging all around us and we need to learn to recognize this.

Adult bullying is just as deadly and rampant as child bullying. I’ve witnessed this first hand. It’s rampant on social media and prevalent in the work place. You know the type, the ones who feel they have to make everyone else or those who over achieve look bad in order to make themselves look good. Even attacking the personal appearance or mentality of another. They make up events, stories or actions, or take a simple action and twist it and make it something completely different. They often attack those who have attained good work ethics, in order to make them look bad. They either can’t or refuse to perform themselves and want to be recognized for others achievments. When they zero in on someone, they are not content to merely say negative things and then move on, they repeatedly attack personal appearance, mentality or skills. Even though the skills are above their own. They attack without mercy until the other person is beat down and leaves or quits. Then they move to the next. It never pays to confront directly, however I often do, but if it only makes the bullies worse, tell someone. Don’t remain silent. Because they will not only treat you in this manner they will attack others. And so often as in children, disaster strikes.

Satan loves this type of person as he plays on this weakness and considers it an invite to control and strike at others. I am not saying that all bullies are demon possessed, but they are definately controlled by a dark force. Satan and his fallen angels roam and look for these weaknesses to devour. I have seen it in the eyes of some. This hatred permeating every aspect of our lives have been blamed on America and the world’s decline in belief in God. Especially in America. Yesterday I saw a prominant actress say she is teaching her son to pray. What’s the problem in that you say? She is teaching him to end a prayer with the word “Namaste.” Not in Jesus name, but “Namaste.” Do you know what that word means? Well the host asked her to explain and she said her young son had asked her what that meant and she told him “It means the God within me, bows to the God within you.” An internet site called mindbodygreen.com say’s this about “Namaste”, “It’s not what you might imagine. We hear it as we exit yoga class, or after an encouter with a friend. It directly translates to “the divine in me bows to the divine in you.”

Harmless you say? No it’s very dangerous. It’s new age doctrine carried from India. And it does not acknowledge the Father in heaven or Christ, it acknowledges a foreign god that they believe resides in each of us. This is non-biblical and is dangerous. This mystic occultism is permeating our world. And satan is using it to his advantage. Look how far we have fallen from God in America alone. Our Christian-Judeo values our country was founded on are now gone. Our morals resemble that of Ancient Rome. Christianity in America has morphed into a belief that prospers man, and puts God second in our life to the worldly pleasures laid before us. It takes God out of our lives and invites satan into it. Is it any wonder that hatred, vile behavior, bitterness and revenge dominate peoples lives?

I have been trying to understand this, and in a vision God showed me that in the midst of darkness He is shining His ligt. A light appeared from the sky, between the clouds and I knew it was Christ. He is always here with us, this gives hope. Pray for God to place a veil around you and your family that evil can not permeate. Ask God to keep satan away, and send any darkness back to those who send it. Ask God to make satan give back anything he’s stolen from you. And Put on the whole armour of God. Stay in the word, stay in prayer with God, resist the devil and he will flee from you. As the Bible tells us, we wrestle not with flesh and blood but prinicpalities….

You don’t need Yoga or mysticism to feel God, through the Holy Spirit residing in you. You don’t need to chant or pray in a chant for God to recognize you or hear your prayers. Be very careful what you allow into your home or your heart. Satan is roaming the earth as a ravenous lion, waiting to see whom he may devour. Pray for one another as commanded that we can resist the darkness of satan and his angels.

Ephesians 6:18
In the same way, prayer is essential in this ongoing warfare. Pray hard and long. Pray for your brothers and sisters. Keep your eyes open. Keep each other’s spirits up so that no one falls behind or drops out.
