As I remember those who have given their lives for Country, I remember my own father. He didnt die on the battlefield of war, although he did serve our country. But he died a warrior for Christ. As his health declined he would say, “Im a winner either way, Im a winner. We have the Victory! And my uncle who served and was wounded in Viet Nam tells about Jesus bringing him through the darkness there, a firefighter told of falling through a burning floor to find an angel who led him out of the fire. Persecuted Christians tell of Jesus leading them and guiding them to give them strength and endurance. Remember all of them and then thank God for the gift of His Son, through Him we have the Victory!
