Connect To The Holy Spirit And Be Free From Satans Snares

By Julia and CJ

There is a darkness that is growing over the earth and is becoming more and more prominent. A time that may overtake us if we are not solid in our faith in Christ. Those who do unrighteousness hate the light and love darkness because their deeds are evil, therefore we must be the light that shines in a dark place! (John 3:16-21).

God gives so many chances for us to love and serve Him, yet for anyone who chooses instead to follow their perilous ways God will send them strong delusion so they will believe a lie. This may seem harsh but God does so since they have decided to not accept the truth of His word that could have very well saved them!(2 Thessalonians 2:1-11).

As we study and pray, we learn so much from the struggles of the early church.  One of the greatest struggles we found is the defense of Christ, and His Gospel or good news.  The good news brought by the early church is that Christ was crucified and died for our sins, and rose again.  Through His gift the Holy Spirit was brought unto all those who believe.  We no longer have to search, the veil was removed by Christ. (2 Corinthians 3)  When we fully understand this we are in need of no other instruction.  We are set free.  Free from the yoke of burden.  Persecution for Christ gives way to increased faith.  We see it today.  Why is it that only those who have lived under oppressive law and rule, see this?  Those coming out of this oppression and persecution say it best.  They say, “we are free!”  Proving Christs words “my burden is easy, my yoke is light.”  We who are born into freedom are blind.  We think that Christ can’t offer freedom, we have it.  We have it because our forefathers understood this great gift and strove to give it to us.  How blessed we are.  One thing that we all can learn by unplugging from the world is this:

…..stand firm in the one Spirit, striving together as one for the faith of the gospel. (Phillipians 1)

So why do we plug into the world and allow our minds to be corrupted by the evil and wicked?  Why do we search extra biblical texts and web sites for hidden meanings, or darkness?  Why do some hunger for any other doctrine?  Why do some seek to discredit Gods word through mans lens
of intrepretaion when Christ gave us the Holy Spirit to guide us?  Recently we were given notice of a site carrying wickedness and false doctrine, also claiming to draw Christians in by encouraging dialogue only to find themselves surrounded by the blasphemous and wicked.  God hates the assembly of those who have wicked intentions.

Psalm 26:5
I abhor the assembly of evildoers and refuse to sit with the wicked.
Learn to recognize this, don’t be drawn in.  Yes we are to spread the Gospel, defend Christ, but when we risk being made a fool, even making Christ become foolish, shake the dust off your feet and walk away.  And have we not been instructed to not touch the unclean thing?

2 Corinthins 6

What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said:

“I will live with them
    and walk among them,
and I will be their God,
and they will be my people.”

17 Therefore,

“Come out from them
    and be separate,
says the Lord.
Touch no unclean thing,
    and I will receive you.”

We also teach by example.  Many times people have said to me, oh thats right your religious.   When I have spoken no word only shone a light in the dark.  And then there are times when someone said Oh Jesus is not my thing.  And without thinking I blurted out Oh He is my Lord and Saviour and without Him I would be dead.  I know that came from the Spirit and that was all that was needed for that person to think about that and remember.  We have found through our journey, you cant argue with a drunk or a fool.  The Bible even tells us that.

Do not answer a fool according to his folly, or you yourself will be just like him.  Proverbs 26:4

So study, and live in the Spirit, connected and stand firm in the Gospel Of Christ. And be not ashamed!  Do not let Satan distract you or take away from Gods word.  Do not invite satan to live in your mind!
