I heard something yesterday that raised the hackles on the back of my neck. And it should concern every Christian.
Under our watch, according to pew research Christianity has decreased by 8% and the muslim faith is rising. Now one thing that may be clouding this research and the numbers is the fact that now, they divide not only by denomination but by race. I couldn’t believe that. I know that denominations are falling by the way side as a new charismatic, prosperity gospel emerges, but I did not realize that they classify each denomination basically as a religion. Have we failed that miserably that Christianity is not the core of our religious beliefs? Its unsettling. Google Christianity declining in US and see for yourself, youll most likely find this, and a host of articles on “white christianity” as if it were a religion in itself.
While the church has slept, the politically correct left has been very busy demeaning the Gospel of Christ.
Let that sink in. On our watch, this generation, has allowed our faith and Christ’s church to decline. We have failed. We had one job to spread the Good News, the Gospel of Christ and we failed!
Our acceptance and complicity in sin, and worldly desires has given way to idol worship. And I mean that literraly. Forget for a moment about those who worship a black rock. In Hawaii during the recent volcanic eruption news media interviewed 2 that paid homage to “the gods” and 1 that actually named a goddess. CNN reported that “Many native Hawaiians believe that lava is the kinolau, or physical embodiment, of volcano goddess Pele. Poking lava with sticks and other objects is disrespectful,” they cited the National Park Service as a source. And people are leaving her gifts.
So again we find ancient gods that Christians don’t believe exist.
Now back to the beggining, as local news quoted numbers on the decline of Christianity they announced a brand new Congressional Caucass. Four democrats formed the Congressional Free Thought Caucuss. Filled by Athiests and Humanists to give them equal opportunity. According to the Humanists website: “The Congressional Freethought Caucus will: promote public policy formed on the basis of reason, science, and moral values; protect the secular character of our government by adhering to the strict Constitutional principle of the separation of church and state; oppose discrimination against atheists, agnostics, humanists, seekers, and nonreligious persons; champion the value of freedom of thought and conscience worldwide; and provide a forum for members of Congress to discuss their moral frameworks, ethical values, and personal religious journeys.”
Did you get that? Ensure the strict adherance of the constitution, separation from church and state? Of course you know what that translates to. Push God farther away, push our Judeo-Christian values farther away, and you know what? Christians don’t care.
I’m not saying they don’t have a right to this party, but read between the lines. And look at what they have already completed as far as discrimination to conservative Christians. Still not convinced? Take a walk through social media or you-tube and you will see. Christian conservatives are censored or shouted down. One thing that comes to mind as far as the left’s plan was a statement Hillary Clinton made a while back that said “deep seeded cultural codes ,religious beliefs and cultural biases have to change.” And they have done just that. And Obama made his own statements leaning that way. Remember when he talked about middle class voters, he said this: “And it’s not surprising then that they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations,”
The winds of change have been blowing for several years. And now we see the devastation for the first time.
We have failed miserably. What can we do? Instead of watching a house built on sand crumble around us, we can listen to Christ, now more than ever! I Am Not Ashamed Of The Gospel Of Christ!
Mathew 7
Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:
27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.
