For those who wonder is this all there is as they struggle through this life …….. The answer is NO! There is so much to look forward to, but we have to want more of what Christ stands for than the false hope this world promises. People will let us down at times, but the Lord who will never change and is the same yesterday, today, and forever is a sure anchor for us and by following the one who has conquered death we will live again because of Him! (2 Timothy 2:10-11). Therefore I endure all things for the elect’s sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory. It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him:
As a believer we no longer live as we once did by the desires of the flesh, but by faith in Christ who lives within us. (Galatians 2:19-21).
Even Job knew of the power of God and that in the latter day His redeemer who lives he would see even after he would die! (Job 19:25-29). For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth: And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God: Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another; though my reins be consumed within me. But ye should say, Why persecute we him, seeing the root of the matter is found in me? Be ye afraid of the sword: for wrath bringeth the punishments of the sword, that ye may know there is a judgment.
Philippians 1:20-21
According to my earnest expectation and my hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life, or by death. For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
