Thank You Lord, for all you stand for

When we come out of a very difficult time such as the loss of a loved one,an unforseen accident or illness,we are reminded of the words of our Lord(I will never leave thee, nor forske thee”.Our Lord was sent to us for so many reasons such as to comfort, renew our strength and even the promise of eternal life!Isaiah 61:1-3 helps us to understand that none of us walk alone when we walk with Him(Isaiah 61:1-3).  The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified.

We may ask how could Job praise God after suffering such a great loss of all of his children, his servants and his cattle, only to fall upon the ground and worship?Without knowing who God is it would be impossible to do,but Job knew the love and comfort of his Lord. There is so much to be thankful for and thank God for sending His Son to be the saviour of the world and the promise of eternity!(1 John 5:11-15). 11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.14 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:15 And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.
