God will not allow His name to be polluted nor give His glory unto another,but will however see to it that His people are refined to show His praise in the earth (Isaiah 48:9-12), ⁹ For my name’s sake will I defer mine anger, and for my praise will I refrain for thee, that I cut thee not off.¹⁰ Behold, I have refined thee, but not with silver; I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction.¹¹ For mine own sake, even for mine own sake, will I do it: for how should my name be polluted? and I will not give my glory unto another.¹² Hearken unto me, O Jacob and Israel, my called; I am he; I am the first, I also am the last.  (Revelation 22:11-14).

The people of God are not a stranger to what it means to be a christian as they know the importance of suffering for Christs sake,and the many trials which tests their faith!(1 Peter 1:3-9). ³ Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,⁴ To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,⁵ Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.⁶ Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:⁷ That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:⁸ Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:⁹ Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.

In God’s plan of all the generations that have come and gone He has reserved unto Himself seven thousand that have not bowed their knee to the image of Ba’-al,for they are the remnant according to the election of grace (Romans 11:1-5).  I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.² God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against Israel saying,³ Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life.⁴ But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal.⁵ Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.
