A WEARY WORLD Watching

A WEARY WORLD rejoices.  An old Hymn sung around the world brings Hope in Christ.

Luke 2

And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,

Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

As a watcher, I am constantly searching the heavens watching for signs of our Lord’s return.  For He said “My Father’s house has many mansions and I go to prepare a place for you, I WILL RETURN!”

Then the Angel said to the men looking up: “why do you stand here looking up, He will return in the same manner He left.” Acts 1

But sadly people have forgotten that.  They have grown weary of waiting and watching, they think He’s not coming.  So, many have turned to the pleasures of the world, many have turned to man instead of God.

2 Peter 3

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
Many are taken into what the world views as watching.  Watching for who??  I am reminded again today about NORAD  (North American Aerospace Defence Command) watching for a man in a red suit bearing gifts for all the world.

The greatest gift given to the world is God’s Son!

John 1

And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
What if NORAD actually watched for Messiah’s return?? What if we had daily or weekly briefings on signs in the moon and stars?  Alas we are a stiff necked people taken in by the world.

We are closer than ever to our Lord’s return.  The Apostles knew, they warned but all are asleep.

My weary Soul is rejoicing for all signs point to His return.  Are you ready?

What I say to one I say to all WATCH!  The King is coming! Mark 13
