” In The Wilderness With God “

wilderness

It is in the wilderness where there are no distractions of any kind does God converse with His people. It was in the wilderness of mount Sinai an angel of the Lord appeared to Moses in the burning bush!(Exodus 3:2-5),  And the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed. And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt. And when the Lord saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I. And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground. (Acts 7:30-33).

It was in the wilderness Jesus was driven by the spirit immediately after John baptized Him, and for forty days was tempted by satan. God did not forsake Him but sent His ministering angels to tend to Him at His greatest time of need. When scripture says He will never leave us nor forsake us we can be sure at the darkest wilderness times of our life He more than knows what it is to suffer yet we are never alone when we trust(have faith)in Him!(Mark 1:9-13).  And it came to pass in those days, that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized of John in Jordan. And straightway coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens opened, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon him: And there came a voice from heaven, saying, Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. And immediately the spirit driveth him into the wilderness. And he was there in the wilderness forty days, tempted of Satan; and was with the wild beasts; and the angels ministered unto him.
