Iran is committing crimes of abuse against its peoples. Executions in the most degrading and cruel ways are increasing. Those executed are denied proper trials and initial access to attorneys. Torture and denial of medical care still exists. Maryam Naghash Zargaran is one of the women caught in the snare of the Iranian corrupt regime, simply for being a Christian. This is outrageous all churchs and Christians across America should be screaming. The in boxes of our representatives should be full, they’re phones should be ringing off the hook. No more money until they release these political and religious prisoners. No more money until Iran stops the abuse of basic human rights. NO MORE!
(Amnesty International)The authorities severely curtailed the rights to freedom of expression, association and assembly, arresting and imprisoning journalists, human rights defenders, trade unionists and others who voiced dissent, on vague and overly broad charges. Torture and other ill-treatment of detainees remained common and was committed with impunity; prison conditions were harsh. Unfair trials continued, in some cases resulting in death sentences. Women and members of ethnic and religious minorities faced pervasive discrimination in law and in practice.
Saeed Abidini has posted multiple times on his face book page about the heinous executions of Sunni Muslims. (Emphasis mine) Young men who are imprisoned, tortured and denied appropriate legal access. Young men, in most cases whose crime was disagreeing with a corrupt evil regimes way.
Others are imprisoned for their Christian faith. Like Marayam Naghash Zargaran. Denied medical treatment, medications withheld, and deplorable sanitary conditions. Other rights groups have reported that women are raped and tortured, and beaten. Amnesty International reports they have issued punishments such as amputations without anesthetic, blinding, and floggings. In addition to the hangings.
Women are forced to wear the face veil, even forcing young girls as young as nine to wear this. Men are speaking out against the injustice women face but are met with hatred.
Iran imprisons and tortures journalists, Human Rights Advocates, political and religious minorities, even giving them death sentences. American marine Amir Hekmati was given a death sentence as he visited his family, for spying. Any charge they feel they want to give to set examples to those who dare question their oppressive regime is placed upon the innocent people.
The deal given to Iran recently was done essentially in the dark and under cover from the press and the people of the West. They should be facing criminal charges in the International Criminal court. Not receiving millions of dollars no matter what the reason. It was said by obama that Libya’s Gaddafi was an oppressive tyrant that had to be removed. But we reward Iran? Why?
“According to Amnesty International, there were 360 executions in Iran in 2011, 734 (of which 14 women and 13 juveniles) in 2014 and 694 in the first half of 2015. According to Iranian public sources 252 executions (of which 5 women and 1 juvenile) were carried out in 2011, 289 in 2014 and 246 in the first half of 2015.” (Wikipedia)
Recently Iran executed a man that had converted to Christianity. His testimony and last words are powerful. You can watch his testimony here via VOCIR (Voice of Iranian Christians)
Please speak out for these that can not speak for themselves. Let them know you stand with them.
