Author’s Commentary: Word has caught my ear about a ERLC National Conference that occurred Aug. 25-27 2016 in Nashville, TN. One of the speakers, Andy Stanley had some remarks that “very controversial” and deceiving! I will mention only two to the remarks here as I put together a meager video to explain my thoughts on the matter.
Remarks: Andy Stanley
“I would ask preachers and pastors and student pastors in their communications to get the spotlight off the Bible and back on the resurrection.” Andy Stanley
“…the issue for us is always ‘who is Jesus?’ Did He rise from the dead? And that we would leverage the authority that we have in the resurrection as opposed to Scripture … not because I don’t believe Scripture’s inspired in terms of reaching this culture.” Andy Stanley
Andy Stanley remarks that we need to “take the spot light off the Bible and back on the Resurrection” and a continued remark he adds onto the Resurrection: ” …And that we would leverage the authority that we have in the resurrection as opposed to Scripture … ” We can not have one without the other! Father God works in wholeness not parts! In other words: We come to Him as broken pottery and the Master Potter puts us back together, refined, polished and whole.
Scriptures:
James 1:1-27 – James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting.
John 10:10 – The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have [it] more abundantly.
James 1:17 – Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
Romans 12:1 – I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, [which is] your reasonable service.
NOTE: DUE TO AUDIO DIFFICULTIES (AKA: satan) I HAD TO PRODUCE A SECOND VIDEO TO BETTER QUALITY!

PRAYER:
DEAR JESUS, I HUMBLY COME BEFORE YOU AND SEEK YOUR HELP THAT EARS AND EYES WOULD BE OPENED TO THE BODY OF CHRIST TO AWAKENED!
