For those who believe there is no difference if we do what is right or wrong, just may be surprised the genuine reward of doing what is right allows one to inherit heaven forever! (Psalm 37:27-30) Depart from evil, and do good; and dwell for evermore. For the Lord loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off. The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein for ever. The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom, and his tongue talketh of judgment…… (Colossians 3:22-25).
Whatever we do in this life reflects if we are a servant of Christ, and as a Christian we know if we cloth the naked and feed the poor it is unto the Lord. When Jesus returns the sheep will be separated from the goats, and the sheep who will be set on His right hand will be told “Come, Ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world”. (Matthew 25:31-40). When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
God has made many promises to His people, and it is by faith and patience do we inherit them. As the Lord’s prayer says “Thy kingdom come, thy will be done in earth as it is in heaven”, we know one day when Christ returns heaven will dwell upon the earth, and while we have our being we can enjoy His many blessings until then. (Hebrews 6:10-13). For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister. And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end: That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises. For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself,
