As terror envelopes the world, as chaos slaughter and genocides increase, I couldn’t help thinking what if? What if all the protests we are witnessing in our Country alone would suddenly protest and demand action from our leaders on protecting the innocents, demanding that human rights be recognized by all countries of the world, not just a few. What if this energy was directed at calling out to God to heal the world, and bring peace? What if we turned hatred into love? What if indeed.
The latest terror attack happened last night as we slept. In Brussel’s, at least 30 dead and over 100 wounded. This comes on the heels of an attack in Yemen, where they slaughtered Sisters of Mercy, and kidnapped a Priest. There are rumors (unconfirmed) that this Priest is being tortured and plans are in the making for his death. Fides news agency say’s these reports are unconfirmed, but they are asking for Prayer for this man of God. Christian genocide was declared from our Capitol along with the Yazidi’s and other religious minorities. Europe is overwhelmed with millions of refugee’s. Innocent people are dying or starving from Africa to the Middle East while our lawmakers are splitting hairs over who is responsible. It’s demonic, it’s evil personified, and it’s name is Terror! It’s name ranges from (depending on the area) Boko Haram, Al-Shabob, Al-queda, ISIS, and the list goes on and on. It’s one in the same and it’s coming from the gates of hell. We have countries like Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Thailand who are breaking human rights in a barbaric way. Persecuting their own people, persecuting those seeking freedom as in Thailand. The world is broken, it’s reeling like a drunkard.
So I ask again, What if?? What if we as Christians/Americans united and instead of in fighting turned our attention to the evil and hatred in the world, and prayed, turned to God instead of what is transpiring. What if??? Really think about that for a moment, what if??
If my people who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14
