There is a report this morning from Dawn News Agency in Pakistan about the new Domestic Violence bill addressing violence and persecution of women in Pakistan. Pakistan has long persecuted and abused women and children, and Christians. With Sharia law and mob justice Christians are burned alive, women are forced into marriage and raped repeatedly. Along with girls and children. Their bonded labor program is a form of slavery. Finally in recent years a bill for the protection of rights of women and children who bring charges was introduced to protect them, but it is in front of the Council of Islamic Ideology (CII) as parts of it are in direct violation of Islamic (sharia) law. “The council say’s according to Article 227 and 228 of the Constitution, no law which was repugnant to Islam could be enacted.” They are reviewing the bill, and according to them, there are clauses that clash with Sharia, and this council is protected under the constitution. The constitution also has provisions to protect rights of religious minorities but this is ignored. This bill which many had hopes for to protect women and children is quickly turning dark under a sharia law.
Domestic violence in Pakistan is an endemic social problem. According to a study carried out in 2009 by Human Rights Watch, it is estimated that between 70 and 90 percent of women in Pakistan have suffered some form of abuse. An estimated 5000 women are killed per year from domestic violence, with thousands of others maimed or disabled. The majority of victims of violence have no legal recourse. Law enforcement authorities do not view domestic violence as acrime and usually refuse to register any cases brought to them. Given the very few women’s shelters in the country, victims have limited ability to escape from violent situations.
Women in Pakistan are discouraged from justice, from the police to the courts. This council has a say in all laws passed. The left, and those who wish to shame Christians in the west who call out practices of Islam calling it “islamaphobic” have done a great dis-service to women in Pakistan and other Islamic countries. Islam is a barbaric practice of abusive laws, no matter how you try to whitewash it. It’s not a religion it’s a government, a tyrannical government, a barbaric government, a system of abuse and slavery, a system that tolerates no other view, a system that advocates the abuse and murder of all who don’t believe in Islam.
The whiners in this country who claim there is a war on women because we speak out against abortion and birth control funded by the government need to visit these countries and witness the real war on women. The bleeding heart liberals screaming that those who speak out against this are “islamaphobic”, and choose to wear the Hijab in support are doing nothing except SANCTIONING ABUSE OF WOMEN. They are NOT helping to bring awareness to the abuse.
And Pakistan is one of the top receivers of aide in the world. And the world turns a blind eye to these atrocities.
Pakistan has a dark history of cleansing the country of human rights activists and those who speak out against these atrocities. I have reported repeatedly on this, and I have many questions, why are they cleansing the area of reporters and Human Rights Activists? What don’t they want the world to know? This abuse of torture, rape, murder and slaughter is a very dark side of Pakistan one that isn’t allowed to surface. A side that so many Christians there have already experienced first hand. Not only in Balochistan but the whole of Pakistan. Why do we keep finding, Iran, the Taliban, Al-Queda and even ISIS in these abuses and slaughter? Many unanswered questions. The more you peel away at the layers it’s like the onion, it stinks. Another Rights Activist in the region begs the question why do assassins think that killing one will silence everything? Which is a very good question, one that I’ve pondered many times. Killing someone who speaks out, does not silence everyone. We must band together, and stand in solidarity with those brave enough to speak out against the injustices of wicked men. The innocent, the weak, the minorities, those fleeing for their lives, we must be their voice. Read More
