Today I am thinking of the world chaos and suffering and looking in the word for comfort. I find many references that Jesus taught us. I see so many followers following after money, fame and man’s approval. But is this what we are to seek??? No. No it’s not. We are not of this world. Jesus chose us out of the world to be as one with Him. The world hates us for this reason. So I welcome this hatred, as it proves Jesus is in my life. My home is not in this world, I am only passing through. My home is in paradise with my Lord and Savior. WHERE’S YOURS ?? John 15:18 “If you were of the world, the world would love its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, because of this the world hates you.…
Things to ponder today.
If Jesus were here today, and on facebook, and He was sharing His message of repentance would he gain likes or friends? Most likely not. Would Christians criticize him for his “selfish” message that there is only one way to the Father, as so many are now proclaiming? Would He find acceptance for His message that He is the Son of God, or would He be shocked that so many in His flock is accepting another Gospel? This is one way to know if Christian leaders are telling the true Gospel. But one question we never ask ourselves. If we sing songs that Honor him as King, but accept another Gospel that say’s we can worship with those who deny the deity of Jesus, would this please him? Or would he say that we follow the father of lies? If Jesus was sitting in your church would he shout with joy or quietly shake the dust off His feet and move on? Are we as Christians becoming like the Israelites in the desert when they grew tired of waiting for the word of God, and made a golden calf? Are we tired of waiting for the promised return of Christ, and building ourselves golden calves to worship?? At the risk of sounding a little crazy, I say Repent for the time of the end is at hand.
And remember we are children of the Most High God! So before you accept another Gospel remember who we belong to and that we were called out of the world and it’s political correctness! Shine your light for others before it’s too late.
How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.
—1 John 3:1
Remember we must never grow weary of waiting for the return of our Savior as the Israelites did in the desert. Remember what we are watching and waiting for. The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9
