FOLLOW MY+ STEPS

At one time in history there was ONE Holy, Universal, Apostolic Church on the earth. It was the Ecclesia, the “called – out” from every kindred, tongue, people, and nation. This Body of people stood out so much, and conducted themselves in such a different manner, that the pagans said that there were three kinds of people on the earth: male, female, and Christians, i.e. “little Christs / Messiahs.”

The huge difference among this group of people was that they actually obeyed  the Words of JESUS CHRIST / YESHUA+ MESSIAH.  They followed HIS+ Teaching and Commandments in all things, in their whole life.

This was not lost on the pagans . . .

who could not help but notice the purity, peace, and love among the followers of The MESSIAH.  The Power of their lives was a tremendous evangelistic tool. The pagans had never seen this kind of life before.

This was in addition to the signs and wonders that worked among them through the Gifts and Power of the HOLY SPIRIT, Whom the world could not receive. It was UNIQUE to the Disciples of JESUS / YESHUA+.

.

They were a Kingdom separate from the rest of the world, but scattered out among all the world, as salt is sprinkled  or poured on various items to preserve it, to keep it from corruption.

.

The Followers of JESUS had Power to live separately from the world’s standards on a daily basis. They had Power to suffer for their LORD+ if it came to them. They counted it an honor to bear reproach for their LORD+ MESSIAH.

.

Where did this Strength come from?

.

Obviously from The Blessed HOLY SPIRIT. But also from that same Grace, to unite their wills with the will of their Heavenly FATHER, as their LORD+ had done before, giving them an example of “Delighting to do HIS will.” 

.

It was the whole Life and Goal of the ancient Pre – Nicene Christians to bring Glory and Honor to their Crucified, Risen, and Ascended MESSIAH, and HE+ worked with them as they linked their will with HIS+ Will!

.

Where did this Church

of the “called – out ones” go?

What happened to it?

.

Through the subtlety and trickery and lies of satan, it has been shattered into over 40,000 denominations, sects, cults, fellowships, and what have you, since the reformation time.  Some have called it the “deformation” time! 

.

Something needed to be done, but through the wiles of the devil, the reformation somewhat backfired, and the protestants ended up murdering fellow Christians who did not go along with heretical changes or teachings.  Not orthodox Christianity to say the least ! ( See a 500-year-old publication called “The Martyrs’ Mirror” for eye-witness accounts of many of these martyrdoms, accompanied by wood-cuts illustrating the martyrdoms.)

What can we do today

to become more like

the ancient followers of YESHUA+?

.

WE can link our wills

with HIS+ will

totally…

just like the Pre-Nicene, Called-out-Ones did. 

.

We can set our affections on things above and NOT on things on the earth. We can lay up our treasures in heaven. We can delight to do HIS+ will. We can deny ourselves daily, take up our Cross, and follow our LORD+ in the straight and narrow way that leads unto Life, that Life which few find.

.

Perhaps as we follow CLOSELY to our LORD JESUS CHRIST / YESHUA+ MESSIAH, the Power and Gifts of the HOLY SPIRIT will be openly seen working among us, as it has among other suffering Christians on the earth.

.

The sick will be healed by touch or Word. The dead will be raised up to Life. Demons will be cast out. Supernatural works will be sent forth from the HOLY SPIRIT, works that cannot be counterfeited nor duplicated by any antagonistic group that hates this Kingdom-within-all-kingdoms, which is the Salt and The Light of the world.

THEN   it will come to pass the things written in Psalm 89:7… 

.

GOD is

greatly to be feared

in the assembly of the Saints,

and to be had

in reverence

of ALL THEM 

that are about HIM.

.

When CHRIST – followers line up their wills with The LORD JESUS CHRIST in all areas of their lives…  then we will see Psalm 89:7 come to pass.

.

This is when evangelism occurs!  People will see the reality of Life in CHRIST and HUNGER for it.

.

Let us endeavor to walk so that all may see ” CHRIST in us, the HOPE of GLORY” and be drawn to the Light and the Life of The Eternal SON+ of GOD.

.

I, therefore, the prisoner of the LORD+, beseech you that you walk worthy of the vocation with which you are called.

With all lowliness and meekness, with long-suffering, forbearing one another in love.

Endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of Peace+,

There is ONE BODY and ONE SPIRIT, even as you are called in ONE HOPE of your Calling,

ONE LORD+,

ONE FAITH,

ONE BAPTISM,

ONE GOD AND FATHER OF ALL, 

WHO

IS ABOVE ALL,

AND THROUGH ALL,

AND IN YOU ALL.
