Love, Prayers and Christmas Messages for imprisoned Pastor Saeed

nativity

(Voice of the Persecuted) Christmas messages, prayers and outpouring of Christian love for our persecuted brother, Saeed Abedini imprisoned in Iran for his faith in Christ. In the weeks to come, we will continue to post these beautiful messages and encourage others to join as we remember, uplift and share Christmas with Pastor Saeed and his family, our family in Christ.

To all of you sharing: Your loving words and prayers have deeply touched our hearts. They’re a radiant example of the true Christian meaning of brotherly love and being ‘one’ in the Body of Christ. Thank you, God bless you and Merry Christmas!

C. Refsland – Tennessee, USA

As we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior, we remember as He commanded those in chains and suffering.  You are in my heart and prayers always.  As Christians we are promised that our petitions are taken boldly before the Throne of God.  I am asking that our Father hold you up in His hands, provide you with great strength, courage, and a supernatural strength.  That He give you a renewed spirit.  That He surround you with Love, Comfort, and Peace.  I am asking that He sends His angels to minister to you.  You are in our homes, our hearts, our minds and our prayers.  As we hold our hearts near to God remember Paul’s words in Hebrews 10:  Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)
And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works.
May God enrich your body, mind and soul, holding you & your family always in prayer.

Craig – PA, USA

My Dear Brother,
I speak on behalf of your extended family through-out the world. Through your imprisonment I have witnessed the body more aware of persecution and hearts knitted together for his glory. The blood of the lamb conquered sin and your testimony to this point has forever changed the West eyesight on Christian persecution. When the final supper appears we will be in glory together and being throwing crowns at his feet. As the world continues to enter his throne room with prayers for you and your family, always know his Grace is sufficient! May Christ crucified continue to ring bells of encouragement each day. I will continue to pray for the fathers will in your life! Love you and your family dearly.
Blessings,
Craig/ Ava-Lauren

We continue to pray for you and not forget you, not only at Christmas but all year round. Make God continue to give you His strength and may He fill you with His peace and comfort in your suffering. May He heal your body physically and protect your mind and spirit as you experience emotional suffering. May He bring Scripture to your mind the moment that you need it. We pray that you will be released, but that God will help you to persevere for His name’s sake as you await your release. We pray for Naghmeh, Rebekka, and Jacob that they will continue to seek God’s face during this time…that God will hold them tightly, and that they will also experience His presence in many meaningful, personal ways while you are away from them. You are “more than a conqueror through Him who loves you.” May you feel the love of God that “neither death, nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from”…”the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:37-39

Dear Pastor Saeed, even though we’ve never met in person, I feel as though I know you, having prayed for you and your family these past 3 years. Not a day goes by that I don’t pray twice a day for your strength in Jesus, and for your release back to your family. We’ve had 2 prayer vigils at my home church, one each the past 2 Septembers. We are trusting that in God’s time you will be released. The Lord has given me this passage of His word to help encourage you, from Isaiah 43:2, 3….”When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you:when you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle you. For I am the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior.”
God is with you, my brother ! And we are praying and weeping for you and with you! Be strong in the Lord!!

Cathy Cutrell – CO, USA

Please know that we continue to pray for you and your family, Pastor Saeed.  Our hearts are heavy with knowing what you are enduring and yet filled with such hope through your faithfulness and God-honoring testimony.  We trust that many are encouraged and coming to faith in Christ! Praise God!
May you be in constant communion with the Holy Spirit and receive comfort and joy amidst the trials. Praying for your release and reunion with your family.

Nalini Harrold – Idaho, US

Dear Saeed
You are in my prayers. May God provide you with His healing grace as you face such strong abuse by your captors and other inmates.
May the Lord fill your heart, mind and body with His great love. His joy and His peace.
Know that many pray for your protection daily.
I am so thankful to read that you continue to reach out to other inmates and share Chrit’s love and salvation with them.
God constantly reminds me of how Paul, when he was imprisoned, did the same.
Sending love in our Savior’s Name and Merry Christmas 🌺 Nalani

Kevin McMahan – AR, USA

Dear Saeed,
I feel like it’s okay to call you Saeed, as I feel like I know you, having prayed for you for these past three years. I pray for your release from prison, and your safe return to your family, and in the meantime, for favor among the prison guards and officials. I pray for Naghmeh, Rebekkah, and Jacob, and have regularly since you came to our attention. I have been blessed to participate in a 9/26 Prayer Vigil each year it has been held.

Saeed, there’s nothing from God’s Word that I could tell you that you don’t know. But know this: you standing strong for Jesus is known throughout the world and there are hundreds of thousands – maybe millions – who pray for you and your family regularly. I pray the Holy Spirit tells you of these prayers and lifts you up as a result. You know God is with you. You know the church around the world is with you. I pray you can rest in that today and everyday.

God bless you,

Pastor Kevin (Little Rock, Arkansas, USA)
