The day was jubilant in Satan’s throne room.  After the attempts to gain the prophesied Messiah into his kingdom failed, it was finally happening.  The well orchestrated betrayal by one of his disciples had successfully led to the arrest and trial of Yeshua.  Now His death was imminent.  Crucifixion.  Satan had called all of His demons to the throne, congratulations, and celebrations ensued.  It was over, God had lost, and the world was his.  But just as Christ’s disciples couldn’t really understand that Christ would arise again, this fact escaped Satan as well.  He was brilliant he thought.  His plan was perfect, God would curse His children, the Messiah would finally be dead and gone and satan’s evil would be spread around the world for all time.  And this time no destruction or interference from God.  He made it to the top, the top of the heavens and above God.

And then just as congratulatory pats on the back were occurring, the sun hid it’s face and the earth began to tremble, satan realized God was not really happy about what he had accomplished.  But after the shock they returned to their celebrations.

It must have been quite the shock for them to suddenly realize that the Messiah was not dead.  He conquered death, & Hades and resurrected to show the world His love and promise to return.

It quickly turned into a somber, angry event.  And then Satan went to work.  He called in reinforcements and began planning his next move.  How he could deceive men into thinking he was God instead of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  After all it worked in the garden with Adam and Eve.  It would work again.  He immediately went to work creating many false messiah’s, and mixing and poisoning the Gospel Christ had spread.  He immediately went to work to try and kill all the followers of Christ, thinking this would destroy the Gospel.  After all satan’s first message to man was “You shall not surely die.”  He would convince them of this again.  And if that fails I will mix up the message and scriptures so much no one will know the truth.  And what worked for the Israelites will work for all of mankind.  We will get God to curse them himself.  We will whisper in every ear that there is more than one God and you can worship them all and still receive eternal life and paradise.  We will convince them that sin is good.  We will confuse them so much that they will blame God for not being allowed to divulge in all manner of depravity.   It will cause so much chaos and confusion that when they finally realize what they have done, it will be too late.  They will be mine.  So we have the beginning of “The great deception and falling away.”

Did you think that Satan would leave such an important battle to men?  No, he would orchestrate the greatest lie and actually cause men to worship him.  He still had a chance.  Knowing his time was short, and attempting to capture as many souls of men that he could he rolled up his sleeve and went to work.  Polluting the Gospel, creating new religions twisting and turning the scriptures so much that he figured man would not follow the one true God.  It worked throughout time, so why not now.  After time went on he realized that the followers of Christ and the chosen of God would not willingly bow to him.  He realized they would rather die than bow to him.  Slaughter after slaughter still did not deter God’s chosen people or Christ’s followers.

He did not put all his eggs in one basket.  There are so many different twists of scripture and total new religions like Islam that he is feeling pretty self-confident.  After all many Christians are touting that there are many pathways to heaven.  Oh he is happy again!  He may lose a few souls but the numbers that are bowing to him are growing by the day.  Happy days are here again.  He even believes that when Christ returns he will defeat him as he has grown quite the army, not only supernatural armies but real men as well.  Killing in the name of a god has made satan ecstatic.

My point is Satan’s well orchestrated plan to deceive men into destroying themselves, and in the process denying the very God that created them, is coming into full fruition.  He is the greatest deceiver of all, the father of lies from the beginning  Prophecy is unfolding at a very rapid pace.  Time is speeding up, and the world is diving headlong into the final battle and deception of Satan.  It’s time to decide “Decide this day whom you will serve.”
