” The Danger Of Wanting One Ruler “

When the people told Samuel they wanted a king to rule over them and to fight their battles Samuel thought they were rejecting him, but God said it was Him the people were rejecting and did not want Him to reign over them. God went on to say let them have a king and told them what will happen for wanting such a request.(1 Samuel 8:5-22). We see in verses 18-20 Samuel tells the people that when things go bad for them and they cry unto the Lord that He will not hear them and they still chose to have a king! (1 Samuel 8:18-20). And ye shall cry out in that day because of your king which ye shall have chosen you; and the Lord will not hear you in that day. Nevertheless the people refused to obey the voice of Samuel; and they said, Nay; but we will have a king over us;That we also may be like all the nations; and that our king may judge us, and go out before us, and fight our battles.

This sounds like today when the people put officials in office only to start to complain of what they’re doing. There is a danger in putting your confidence in man (Flesh) and not total reliance on God who outside of what man is capable of nothing is impossible with God. (Psalm 118:8-9) It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man. It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in princes………. (Luke 18:27).

We are fast approaching a one world system, but as Christians who rely solely on God we know it will be His will that prevails within the earth and not our own. The faith of the early church understood in a more difficult time not like our modern day of convenience that God provides a way when we trust and fear Him over mans fragile way of handling things which often times come to nothing. If we stay in His will and speak His words it will prosper and not return to Him void of the purpose He sent it to accomplish. (Isaiah 56:8-11). The Lord God, which gathereth the outcasts of Israel saith, Yet will I gather others to him, beside those that are gathered unto him. All ye beasts of the field, come to devour, yea, all ye beasts in the forest. His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber. Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter.

  1. The Traveller…..your comment speaks volumes of the stupor that has fallen over the land. In Thessalonians God has said if the people want to reject His truth, then they can believe a lie.

  2. I have been reading Samuel and how they demanded a king like all the other nations. When Samuel went before the Lord he told him to tell these people exactly what the king would do to them and they still demanded an earthly king instead of being ruled by our Father directly.

I find the audacity of man thinking they are far more wiser than God Almighty flabbergasting. The masses are happy to come under the bondage of an earthly king who takes all for himself and makes slaves of his people and only giving them the left overs.

People in NZ and around the world are lauding our current PM. They say he is the best PM NZ has ever had. His actions speak differently, he taken the country from 20 billion in debt to 100 billion in debt. He panders to the rich, jumps when the NWO commands and yet they blindly follow along like little sheep behind him.

This as the words says is going to end very, very badly for many in this world.
