” All Things Become New “

If it were possible to have a new life would you consider it? What is all your suffering had an answer, But the answer meant giving up a few things ………………. Many have done just that but not without persecutions and ridicule, yet they have found a greater joy and meaning of what life is really about and for. No matter what this life has given or taken from us we can be confident in knowing a life lived for Christ is the most important venture anyone can ever partake.

It is written when we repent and turn to Christ we become a new creature, sure we look the ourselves but now the Spirit of the Living God dwells within our hearts and minds and we are renewed! (2 Corinthians 5:17,18) Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;……… (Hebrews 10:15-17).

When one is born from above they know that it is not physical food that keeps one alive, but the daily reading of the word of God that sustains us. Christ is the bread of life and when it is partaken of will even cause one to live eternally long after the flesh has died. (John 6:47-51). Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. I am that bread of life. Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead. This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die. I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.

We learn our true treasure and meaning of life is not found in ourselves but in the person of Christ! For those who follow Him will see they gain genuine friends and a family of brethren who under no circumstances will ever turn from following the one who has given His life to save their own. (Mark 10:28-31). Then Peter began to say unto him, Lo, we have left all, and have followed thee. And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel’s, But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life. But many that are first shall be last; and the last first.
