JOHN 9:31 Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.
For many years I believed as taught that God hears our every prayer, and it wasn’t till true repentance and meditating upon the word of God we learn it is the prayer of the righteous that is heard as God does not answer the prayer of the wicked for a reason. (1 Peter 3:10-12) For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile: Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it. For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil….. (Proverbs 15:8,9,29)…. (Psalm 7:8-11)…..(Proverbs 21:27).
Prayers are vital to our wellbeing, because it is a connection with God through Christ our Lord! Jesus Himself has told us how to ask and receive, and it is by loving and keeping of His commandments. (John 14:13-17). And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. If ye love me, keep my commandments. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
We find in the book of revelation it is the prayers of the saint’s that are kept in golden vials, and these are of the people who through the blood of Christ are made kings and priests which will one day reign upon the earth with Him! (Revelation 5:8-10). And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints. And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

Yes I know beyond doubt my Father who art in Heaven hears my prayers of thanks, praise, worship and requests to him.
The Lord once put a new immigrant across my path. He asked if he could met with him which I duly agreed to. From this meeting I found out he walked some miles to come to this meeting so I informed him I would take him back to where he was staying.
He invited me in and over their type of tea He expressed to me that he was desperate for employment so he could bring his family over to New Zealand. I informed him I would pray and petition my Father on his behalf as I knew beyond doubt that my Father hears my words in prayer. Along with this I gave him some guidance which I later found out he followed to the letter.
A month later via LinkedIn he informed me that he was given a position with the company I suggest he approach directly and be persistent in his approach as I knew they were looking for people with his skill set.
At that stage I was lead to remind of the words I spoke to him which were; “I know my Father and God and King hears my words” and the result is that you have employment today because of these words before his throne.
This man said he remembered these words and thanked me and my Father and God and King for the job as he had at that stage bought his wife and family to New Zealand.
That one action has been written upon his heart as I added these words to him; My God and Father is a living God, His name is Jesus Christ and he sits on his throne in Heaven. He acknowledged these words without any malice and agreed with what was spoken.
One day in a time of desperation he will remember these words and call upon the name of Jesus and be saved.

Our Father knows the hearts and minds of HIS people, and a sure sign He heard your prayers for this man is he also remembered exactly what you had said to him…….Only our Father can bring to pass the words of His servants. Hayden………. All my life I thought God heard all prayers, but after reading so much in the word we see that God is angry with the wicked every day and He does not support the evil devices some choose. God Bless You Brother,and Stay Strong in the Lord!

Amen Sister. Very good things to point out from Scripture. Those prayers that rise up as incense are the prayers of HIS+ faithful and obedient Children, HIS+ Disciples.
