“Trial Of Our Faith “

thCAUK2MC2s

Something worth having is worth working for, and this applies to this life by giving an honest day’s work, and to press on in the trial of our faith that rewards us eternal life one day. (1 Peter 1:7-9). That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ: Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.

Life is fleeting and we are upon this earth a very short time, yet if we renew our minds and see through the eyes of faith our life will never end if we serve Christ in sincerity and any affliction is but for a moment compared to life in our eternal home in heaven. (2 Corinthians 4:16-18) For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal……. (Romans 8:18)……(1 Corinthians 2:9,10).

It is written Christ suffered to enter into glory and as the saying goes people are people so why would we think people are any different than those who reproached Christ in His day seeing we keep faith in the same God that is our Father! (1 Peter 4:13-17). But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified. But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men’s matters. Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf. For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?….. (2 Timothy 3:12).
