As the title say’s America is Broken.  I have lived my entire 60 years in America.  I have never seen so much discontent, chaos, hatred, and blatant disregard for each other much less for God.  Not since the Viet Nam war and the race riots of the 60’s and 70’s has America been so divided.  America has seen her share of sorrow, and division.  Look at the Civil War.  Look at the Civil Rights marches and riots of the 60’s.  The assassination of a President and then his brother, and a Civil Rights activist almost threw this country into a tailspin and another civil war.  But Americans did what they do best.  They came together, Churches, Christians and America spoke out and said enough.  During WWll America said enough.  We also said Never Again.  But it’s happening again, and this time America’s leaders say “What difference does it make?”  And on the genocide of Christians they comment on the Crusades or the cruelty (or so they think cruelty) of the Bible and Christianity.

America is funding terrorists, our leaders are backing these demonic rebels to fight a war of proxy.  America should be on her knees in repentance.   Our leaders misled us in Libya, Syria, Nigeria, Iran, & Iraq,   They misled us in Sudan, in Yemen, & in Darfur.  In the Rwandan genocide our leaders again mis-led us.  And it was Mr. “what difference does it make” that led that falsehood and thousands died.

Our leaders have said that religious beliefs have to be changed to accommodate abortion, and homosexuality.  In fact our law was changed, to allow the definition of a marriage to include homosexuals.  And States don’t have the right to follow their laws.  They must follow the law of the Federal Government.  While the Feds grab local police stations, local justices, and local courts, our sovereign rights are chipped away at so that we resemble socialism, and communism.

We are a Godless society.  Our youth think that they are owed everything, and they owe nothing to society or America.  Not even to be a responsible citizen.  It’s all about them.  We have raised a generation of  “It’s all about me.”  People are selfish, rude and antagonistic.  Our leaders have created a divide as great as the 60’s in our country.  I grew up in a neighborhood that was split almost equally between white, black, and other immigrants.  And we were equal, there was no division.  There was no chaos.  We all respected each other.  Sure there was crime, but nothing like today.  We grew up with the teaching that we respect authority, we respect the police, we respect the government, and our President.

We grew up with Judeo-Christian morals, and lived by the 10 Commandments.  It wasn’t a perfect country, or world but it was heaven compared to today.  Everyone worked, welfare was a temporary hand up instead of a career.  Now it’s a career goal.  And there are those who actually make more than those of us who work for a living.  And that income includes the selling of their food stamp card.

I don’t recognize my country anymore.  I don’t recognize the world anymore.  It is a world void of compassion, void of caring, void of freedoms.  And western peoples  have sat back and allowed it to happen.  We have watched and remained silent for far too long.  It’s time to open our eyes.  It will totally shock you.  Not everyone believes in God just because they believe in one God.  Not everyone holds to the commandments of the Bible.  Not everyone values life more than death.  And this petri dish we call the world has bred something so dark and so sinister that even Stephen King would cry out in horror.

Christians beheaded, crucified, raped, maimed, burned alive, tortured, imprisoned for their beliefs, and that is just a few of the horrors we have been forced to watch.  And if that’s not enough…the Western leaders are silent about the genocides and ethnic cleansing’s  of the modern era.   When the world can watch an assassination of a country and cheer, something is very, very wrong.

So what difference does it make?  It makes a big difference.  A very big difference.  Especially to God.  We have turned our backs to Him, we have denounced him more than once from the Capitol of our country, and then we want to know why suffering happens, why disasters happen, we want to blame God for everything wrong.  My dear friends we must repent, and we must repent today.  We must ask God as Abraham did when begging for the saving of Sodom and Gomorrah.   It starts with us, Americans,  the Church and the Body of Christ.  What will you do?

Father in Heaven, there are those of us in America that are grateful for your blessings you have  given us. Father we repent and beg your mercy for all the sins of our Country and for turning our back on you as a Nation. Help us to be strong and speak out against injustice. Give us strength, courage and wisdom to stand up for freedom and your Word. In Jesus name we pray, Amen. And we give you all the Glory!
