A Message To The Churches Of America-We Are One-Take Care Of Our Own

we are one

Take this message to your pastor on Sunday and ask him why he has not done this.  Why has he not been concerned about the suffering of our brothers and sisters in Christ that are suffering in Thailand and the rest of the Middle East and Africa.  Ask him to please help.  One special collection a month from every church in America could save a Christian from prison in Thailand.   Of the hundreds of thousands of churches in America every one of these precious soul’s enduring this barbaric prison could be freed.  Every Christian fleeing persecution could be helped.  If each church could do this, so many will be helped.   Every family suffering in Nigeria from Boko Haram could be fed for a month.  Why are we not stepping up to the plate?

Proverbs 22:9 “Whoever has a bountiful eye will be blessed, for he shares his bread with the poor.”

Daniel 4:27 “Therefore, O king, let my counsel be acceptable to you: break off your sins by practicing righteousness, and your iniquities by showing mercy to the oppressed [poor], that there may perhaps be a lengthening of your prosperity.”

For I was hungry, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.  Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee hungry, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?  And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, In as much as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. Mathew 25:35-40

I am begging you, please address this at your church, your parish, your synagogue.  Help at least one.    Just please DO SOMETHING.  We are commanded by God to help those less fortunate.  Why are we not doing so?  I’m not asking for money for me, I’m asking for the church to help those in need.  Every penny should be put to those in need.  I have researched some NGO’s, even Christian NGO’s and have found that among plush offices their staff makes upwards of $40,000.00 a year.  Really?  While our brethren are suffering, government grants are being given and we expect this to help the poor, the needy, the weak, the fatherless and those persecuted.  It’s time to stop relying on government funding and take care of our own.  It’s time to stop cowering before the government, and take care of our own.  Who do you think organized the NGO’s?  The price of a Starbucks coffee could feed someone for a day.  Think about it.

  1. Amen sister, as one of the out of church people I many times challenged those in these places about the taking care of the widows and poor in their own places. Alas all that happened was for them to react in the carnal, so I shook the dust off my feet and walked on.

If they truly loved one another they would do as our Lord disciples do and sell all their extra provisions given to them by the Lord in the first place and give the resulting gold and silver directly to the the poor and needy. But because they follow after Baal this is not going to happen. What is yours is mine and what is mine is mine.

  3. Amen Sister! We are a separate Kingdom. We need to start being a separate Kingdom. We are as separate from the governments of this world as the ancient Christians were from Rome, or we should be.

I will do what I can on this end to make this plea for help known.

Bless you for your care and concern for our true family.
