Hamas, is a Palestinian Islamic organization, with an associated military wing.  It is designated a terrorist organization by Australia, Canada,Egypt, the European Union, Israel, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the United States, and is banned in Jordan.  It is not considered a terrorist organization by Iran, or Russia, Turkey or China.    However Egypt has hosted meetings between Hamas and Fatah (the PA) for unity deals attempting to unify their governments.  They founded in the 80’s around the time of the first intifada.  And were inspired by the Muslim Brotherhood.  Imagine that.

We all know what happened when Israel was forced to remove it’s citizens and withdraw from Gaza.  Hamas quickly took over.  Despite receiving aid in the billions, in fact the Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank receive one of the highest levels of aid in the world,  yet it’s people live in poverty or so they portray.  So where is the money going?  And today it’s reported that they held a celebration and parade in Gaza proudly showing off military equipment, including a drone.

They shot missiles into the sea, and paraded their naval division ( a group of men in wet suits), & they promptly  thanked the Islamic Republic of Iran “which did not skimp on money, weapons and other things and provided the resistance with rockets.”  

Hamas’s charter calls for the destruction of Israel and a new Islamic state.  And they scream that from the roof tops.  In their little celebration they burned an efigy of a Jew over Israeli flag draped coffins and a replica of the Temple.  They said they are closer than ever to lighting the fire:  “We warn of the moment of explosion which won’t be in the interest of the occupation.”
And if that isn’t enough, the PA has announced they are taking their demands to the UN on Wednesday for the withdrawal of Israel to pre-1967 borders.  And Kerry is in Rome meeting with others like Russia and China and France and also Prime Minister Netanyahu.  Rome of all places.  So they will begin to hammer out a covenant or so they say.  One of pressure for Israel and the world to accept a terrorist organizations demands to push Israel out of their land.  Of course the official declaration to be voted on by the Security council gives Israel a 2 year deadline to “end it’s occupation.”

Well Gaza worked so well didn’t it.  So what makes the world governing bodies believe that Jerusalem would be any different.  Prime Minister Netanyahu has continuously said that this would bring extremists to the heart of Tel Aviv and the heart of Jerusalem, and he is right.  (More)

The world governing bodies have set the Middle East on fire with one failed policy after another.  They can’t even decide who the good rebels and the bad rebels are.  And it would appear that they can’t remember who they have labeled as terrorists and who they haven’t.  Or would it be that whatever suits their purpose at the time is their mantra?  Or maybe it’s the age old saying “the enemy of my enemy is my friend?”  I can’t for the life of me figure out why they would even begin to enter into any type of agreement or talks with Iran.  A country who continues it’s diatribe to destroy Israel, and is funding Hamas, Hezbollah, and many other groups that are raging a demonic slaughter of innocents.  What are they doing?

So we know the history of Hamas, but what about Fatah?  What does the name mean?

Fatah meaning “opening”, “conquering”, or “victory”.   The word “fatḥ” or “fatah” is used in religious discourse to signify the Islamic expansion in the first centuries of Islamic history –as in Fatḥ al-Sham, the “conquering of the Levant”. “Fatah” also has religious significance in that it is the name of the 48th sura (chapter) of the Qu’ran which, according to major Muslim commentators, details the story of the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah.  During the peaceful two years after the Hudaybiyyah treaty, many converted to Islam, increasing the strength of the Muslim side. It was the breach of this treaty with the Quraish that triggered the conquest of Mecca. This Islamic precedent was cited by Yasser Arafat as justification for his signing the Oslo Accords with Israel.

So as those watching and awake sit with mouths agape the world is spiraling toward prophetic ends.
