WARRIOR ANGEL:

A VISION for the Tribulation time

This vision came several years ago, well before the explosion of violence and evil that we have seen in just the past year or two.

All who are watching are aware of the exponential increase in evil that is worldwide.

The LORD+ knew what was coming.

It is imperative that we stay VERY CLOSE to HIM+.

HE+ is our only place of safety.

A few years ago, during times of prayer, I had been asking our LORD+ about the huge amount of evil that seemed to be multiplying daily across the earth. At one point I asked the LORD+ about HIS+ church being kept in existence on the earth, being kept from the enemies both visible and invisible, those who hate us.

I said, “LORD+, it seems like we need a weapon of some sort.”

HE+ answered and said,

“I+ AM YOUR WEAPON”.

We must remember this, as we face the flood of evil that is hurled at the Body of CHRIST by the adversary.

HE+ also sends those of HIS+ Hosts, HIS+ heavenly armies appointed for this work, to be ministering spirits… fellow “combatants” so to speak… for those who are following the Lord JESUS CHRIST as HIS+ Disciples.

A few weeks later this vision came as I waited before the LORD+.

It came in a very short space of time, almost a “flash” of seeing into another realm or sphere of existence, of which our LORD+ is both Creator and Master.

The vision follows.

I saw an angel, as it were, in a flash of a vision. This angel seemed very large (compared to mortal humans), 8 or 10 feet tall it seemed, with two wings extending up over him another 6 feet or so above his head almost in a straight line (not out to the side). He looked more or less human-shaped, but different, stronger, more perfect. He had no beard. His face was neither happy or sad but was very “single-minded” in countenance.  

( Remember, these Created Holy beings are sent from the Presense of the LORD+ and are sinless creatures, intent only on obeying their CREATOR+ Whom they adore.  They ministered to our Precious LORD JESUS when HE+ walked on the earth.)

( A side note:   I realize that Scripture teaches that some of the angelic orders have wings while some do not necessarily have them, at least visible, as in those at our LORD’S+ Resurrection  and at HIS+ Ascension.

 These wings are a part of their person and are NOT needed to fly as a bird would fly, i.e., by “flapping” them. In Ezekiel the angelic beings moved by simply pointing their wings in the direction they were to go. They seem to be given the ability to move slowly or at many times the speed of light if needed!! )

How wonderful is the LORD our GOD!

 In this vision, when this angelic warrior stood still, his color was golden over white, but his bodily “substance” seemed to be swirling or moving constantly, like  “energy” of some kind.  (See Ezekiel 1:27).

 When he began to move he became like liquid fire! He still had his form, but was like liquid fire and had more volume. As he moved faster, the liquid fire became larger and more intense and swirling.

The angelic form was almost lost at one point in a swirling mass or “ball” of liquid fire. The more or faster he moved, the more intense and bright the rolling fire became.

Then as he slowed down, the fire lessened in intensity.  As he settled and became still, his human-like form became visible once again, although his body still seemed to be made of swirling energy.  ( A kind known to the LORD+ alone ). Even standing still, the “fire” or “energy” swirled and moved constantly. His body seemed to be made of this “energy”         I heard the words …“Warrior Angel.”

The brief vision was over at that point.

I saw no sword of any kind although I know the swords mentioned in Scripture would not be like we think of swords  but something beyond human concept or comprehension.

 He had two wings, not four nor six. Scripture does record some classes or orders of angels such as the “seraphim” or multi-faced “cherubim” which have more than two wings.

I would mention once again:

Some angelic orders seem to have no visible wings, such as those present at our LORD’S+ Resurrection and Ascension. The wings are part of their person and of their order, and are not used for flying like an earthly bird would fly.

In the book of Enoch quoted by the Apostle Jude, a class of angels known as “ophanim” is mentioned. I researched the word and it does have to do with fire, or whirling “wheels” of fire. I could not find out much more at that time.

This was different altogether  than what I had always thought of as a Warrior Angel, but it seems that there are different orders/classes of Warrior Angels among those of the LORD’S+ Hosts.   “Hosts” is another word for armies, i.e., YHWH’S ARMIES.

As I mentioned earlier, I had been troubled at that time over the great amount of evil  that was building in the world. I think the LORD+ may have sent this vision to show me that the amount of evil will be easily taken care of… it will be no problem for HIM+ !

At the appointed time it will be made plain.

(Joel 3: 2, 11 & 12, among others, come to mind.)

He even gives to us power over all the power of the adversary

as we walk closely to Him+ in loving obedience

and abide in Him+, staying with HIM+ in all things.

( John 15 )

We must become skilled with the weapons of our warfare, which are not carnal, natural weapons like those of the world, but are supernatural weapons of the HOLY SPIRIT. These weapons really WORK to demolish, to tear apart the strongholds of the adversary and his minions and strike terror into them. Let our LORD’S Words and Instructions “soak in” and become our total Reason to be here on the earth. We are here to represent HIM+ and to bear HIM+ witness.

“Let this mind be in you which was also in CHRIST JESUS.“

The Apostle John says, “We have the Mind of CHRIST.”

The Mind of the MESSIAH!!

May HE+ help us to stand firm and to overcome …

“through the Blood of the LAMB+

and the word of our testimony,

and to love not our lives unto the death.”

Our walk with our LORD+ is

a complete linking of our wills

with HIS+ perfect will,

being in agreement with HIM+ in all things,

going against HIM+ in,

NOTHING.

The Holy Apostles and Prophets and the martyrs and confessors of the pre-Nicene and Early Church are great examples of overcoming and standing for our LORD+.

Also, there are the examples the dear brothers and sisters of our own time, who are martyrs and confessors daily for our LORD+.
