Storms, Earthquakes, Wars, Economic Woes, Are These Related To The Shemitah?

Storms, earthquakes, wars, stock markets plunging, Blood moons, what other signs do we need?

(BBC) A powerful storm has swept across the southern US, killing at least two people and injuring several others.Tornadoes, high winds, lightning, hail and heavy rain left a trail of destruction from Texas to Alabama. In Arkansas, a tornado that touched down about 150 miles south-west of Little Rock killed a man and injured his wife when their home was destroyed.Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal declared a state of emergency on Monday as thousands were left without power. Two tornadoes also hit Missouri, toppling trees and causing some roof damage, according to the National Weather Service. In Alabama, a tree crushed a mobile home just north of Birmingham, killing a 75-year-old woman and injuring her husband, said the county coroner. The extreme weather was expected to continue on Tuesday, with an estimated 36 million people in its path. BBC News – Deadly storm rips through US states.

How about the shemitah?  Is this the year of Judgement from God, do our disasters fall in line with the 7 year cycles God gave Israel? Does the Bible warn us of what’s to come?   You decide.  You know while eyes are on the many wars raging in the world, western governments are in a tight group forcing Israel to divide the land, does this affect us? Do you know that stocks fell yesterday ‘222’ points?  Did you know that the stock market was founded 222 years ago when they signed the ‘Buttonwood’ agreement?  There are way too many so called coincidences lately to ignore this.  And of course those of us who watch and listen and heed God’s words know that there is no such thing as a coincidence.

Here is Rabbi Cahn explaining the ‘Shemitah’.  And it’s time to pay attention.  God is speaking to His children, are you listening?

  1. I agree. The storms produced in Oklahoma were incredibly strange the last few days. December 2015 is a month that will not be forgotten. The Storms hit half of the state of Oklahoma covering it in ice and snow and snapping power lines proving that winter had indeed come. Many people had no electricity for days, But the other half of the state went under water as spring like rains and storms battered it’s beautiful hills and valleys. I live on an island now as a result of the flooding torrential rains. Nearly 14 inches of rain fell in a matter of hours. We witnessed strange lightning, drenching rain, floods, straight line winds that downed trees and snapped tall pines in half. We saw hail and heard the eerie, constant grumbling of thunder. Temperatures balanced between 42 and freezing with sleet and snow spitting at us. Mild weather has returned, but the ravages of the Goliath storm remind us that it had swept over us. Terrible flooding in the south and eastern parts of Oklahoma left us with no clean, running water. It will be a month or longer before life for us returns to normal. We pray and hope. This is the second time in 6 months this kind of weather came, but much worse this time. We are wondering what normal is. And Oklahoma was not the only state that felt this Goliath storm. The nightmare continues still for half of the United States. But not just the U.S. Other disasters across the world continue as I write. Judgement? God is not idle concerning the doings of man. I know in my spirit that God keeps His promises and delivers us in wonderful ways. He is mighty. He also sends His judgements. I think man has crossed lines and has taunted God. God is the maker, and all things He has made are for His pleasure. And He is the destroyer of that which displeases Him. He has the sovereign right, without question, to do so. Just because we as humans try to put restraints on God’s actions it does not mean He is bound by those restraints. He is a God of love and mercy and through prayer He will see us through all things if we believe. He has given us a great gift, His Son, Christ Jesus. Yes, God is good. But man has always tried to rule God. God will not be ruled. He has given us the perfect recipe of how to please Him through His Son, Yeshua. Through Jesus Christ. A life of peace and love.
And if any of the ingredients in the recipe are missing or an ingredient is added that should not be, then it is a recipe for disaster. My God is not restrained. He is worshipped. He is not ruled, He is a mighty and a just ruler. He is a God of order – His way. It should come as no surprise that God is also a God of judgement, because He told us so. Hang on and pray without ceasing. Things are going to get much more interesting, I believe. But in the end, I know in my heart that God is looking out for His children. I am glad to be a King’s kid. I hope you are glad too. Blessings and peace,

Rev. 22:20 'Surely I am coming quickly, Amen. Even so, come Lord Jesus!'
