It’s bad enough that our state department is evidently inept at protecting it’s citizens abroad, now this. Why wasn’t officials with her, why didn’t officials have a team to protect her, why wasn’t she met at the door of the prison and taken to a transport plane? They knew that she had received death threats, they knew that her family wanted to kill her. Now they have let her be detained long enough for this. Pray for her and her family. Pray for intervention from God. Pray for protection.
