“Tribulation Of The Latter Days”

1

God has brought forth his Son and ordained him for the day he will Judge the world in righteousness. Believers are the offspring of God and are to look only to him for all strength and not to any graven images of man’s device. “For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, for we are also his offspring. Foreasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man’s device. And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men everywhere to repent: because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will Judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead”.(Acts 17:28-31).

We are told even the TRIBULATION of the latter days that will come to all men, God will be merciful if we are will be obedient and forsake sin. Just as he told to the people of yesteryear before they crossed Jordan and would be left few in number. “And the Lord shall scatter you among the nations, and ye shall be left few in number among the heathen, whither the Lord shall lead you. And there ye shall serve gods, the work of men’s hands, wood and stone, which neither see, nor hear, nor eat, nor smell. But if from thence thou shalt seek the Lord thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul. When thou art in TRIBULATION. and all these things come upon thee, EVEN IN THE LATTER DAYS, if thou turn to the Lord thy God, and shalt be obedient unto his voice; (For the Lord thy God is a merciful God;) he will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee, not forget the covenant of thy fathers which he sware unto them”.(Deuteronomy 4:27-31).

Why would those who believe in a rapture theory think God would take a people he prepared through his Holy Spirit remove them from the earth during a GREAT TRIBULATION for which they are called to do?  For it is written it is through much TRIBULATION that we will enter into the kingdom of God. “Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must THROUGH MUCH TRIBULATION enter into the kingdom of God”.(Acts 14:22).

We should not be so quick to believe we will be removed from a time God has prepared his people to endure. In the prophesy of the end times Jesus even tells of what the TRIBULATION of the saints will be like. If his people who are called to preach the word are removed then how can they preach unto all nations before the end?  “Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the Love of many shall wax (Grow) cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come”.(Matthew 24:9-14).

We are told those who are in the body of Christ shall suffer persecution,we are not exempt from the same trial that he went through.People will still be offended when we speak his word just as they were in his day, and we are told that we are as he was in this world. “Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgement: because as he is, so are we in this world”. (1 John 4:17).

We are of the household of God and it is the pillar and ground of the truth, for our glory is to suffer persecutions for Christ’s sake.Just as Christ himself suffered to enter into glory!. “But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth. And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory”.(1 Timothy 3:15,16). “In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him. Wherefore I desire that ye faint not at my TRIBULATIONS for you, which is your glory”.(Ephesians 3:12,13).

  3. Not Ashamed Of The Gospel………… Your words spoke volumes when you said some choose a few passages that show escapism and run with it.Jesus never said I will never leave you or forsake you unless in the end days things get really rough then I can’t protect you,or tribulation scares me,so I’m not able to be by your side! NO he said: “For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there shall no flesh be saved: but for the ELECT’S sake those days shall be shortened”.(Matthew 24:21,22)………..We can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens us,not fold under pressure. Our Lord overcame the world and his people are overcomers!.God Bless This Website Of Truth.

  4. Amen, there are so many that choose to ignore the warnings of tribulation. Yes, we have the blessed promise of our Lord, that He will never leave us nor forsake us, even unto the end of time. It’s time to prepare, prepare our hearts, our minds, and our souls for what’s coming. As Paul encourages, we must finish the race, the harvest is ready and the workers are few. We have examples of the tribulation throughout the entire Bible, yet so many only focus on a few verses that show escapism. This not only demeans our Lord’s death and resurrection, but demeans the Apostles sacrifice, and the sacrifices of our Brothers and Sisters suffering death, persecution and tribulation throughout the world! Come quickly Lord Jesus.
