“Division And Unity”

tower of babel

Just as nimrod thought to rise above to Heaven with the tower of babel of which the Lord came down and divided the languages. “And the Lord said,Behold, the people is one,and they have all one language;and this they begin to do:and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.Go to,let us go down, and there confound(confuse)their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech”.(Genesis 11:6,7).

The body of Christ today has many division’s among it.Man has branched off with different religions, yet God remains the same and unchanged!……There is just one God not many. “There is one body, and one spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one Faith, one Baptism,One God and Father of all,who is above all,and through all,and in you all”.(Ephesians 4:4-6).The word denominate derived from denomination which means to give a name to and man has chose to give numerous names to God’s only ONE FAITH.It is so divided that they had to come out with even another called non denominational. The word denomination is not in the entire bible.

God knows the hearts and minds of men,and since nimrod gathering together to rise above God with his tower he has chose to unify the Body Of Christ through his Holy Spirit. “Now I beseech you, brethren,by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you;but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same Judgement”.

(1 Corinthians 1:10).

It was in unity that the disciples walked with Christ, always eager to learn of his ways and not the ways the synagogues taught. Jesus brought the doctrine of his Father and went into them to teach not sit and listen to what they had to say.(Matthew 4:23),(Mark 1:39),(Luke 21:37),(John 8:2).Even the Holy Ghost spoke to seperate Barnabas,Saul, and John to teach the word. “As they ministered to the lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, seperate me Barnabas and saul for the work whereunto I have called them. And when they were at Salamis, they preached the word of God in the synagogues of the jews:and they had also John to their minister”.(Acts 13:2,5).teach

“Take heed to yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers,to feed the church of God,which he hath purchased with his own blood”.(Acts 20:28).So now may there be unity among the people only found in Christ. “That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro,and carried about with every wind of doctrine,by the sleight of men,and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; But speaking the truth in Love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ”.(Ephesians 4:14,15).

It is amazing how God confounded the language of the people in nimrod’s day only to bring unity to his people in these end times through the Holy Spirit!

“Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!”.(Psalm 133:1).unity

  1. Artbella……….You have completely summed up what our Saviour has done for those in search of the truth only found in him!!!!! I Praise God so much to of had you guided to this website and to give that Beautiful testimony of Faith! We are brethren in the Lord and it’s your comment that shows when John was warned not to worship an angel who brought the truth of Christ to him we have a testimony to tell the nations. “And I fell at his feet to worship him.And he said to me,see thou do it not:I am thy fellow servant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus:worship God:For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophesy”.(Revelation 19:10).God Bless You Dear Friend.

  4. Albert……………..I’m not sure what your saying that this article is based on.I personally wrote this article myself and the message is about the divisions among the people in the churches of today and there should be no divisions in the Body of Believers in Christ………..I truly agree the muslims are in character with the nimrod theory.God Bless You.

  5. http://www.islam-watch.org/authors/68-mumin/1186-islam-is-not-for-non-arabs-al-quran.html

This article is completely based on the Quran, its message is to highlight the Quranic evidence that:
    1. Muhammad and his message were meant to be for the Arabs only
    2. All other nations are not invited or expected to join Islam
    3. When Allah decides to send his message to another non Arab nation, he will chose [sic] a prophet from that nation who can speak their language.
    4. Allah promised not to punish those nations who do not receive a prophet.

Something happened when Muhammad was on his way to the abattoir. Now, the current mooslimes hanker to emulate Nimrod.

    • Thanks Albert, that was very interesting. What I found most interesting was number 3. Allah will chose a messenger who speaks the language of the non-arab nation he wants to send his message. And I couldn’t agree with you more. It appears that even if they are self-appointed messengers they are all trying to build that shining tower to the stars. You’ve done it again, you sent me to the dictionary. Thank you for sharpening my skills. And for your watchful eye and insight.

    • I greatly appreciate the linked article, it is really eye opening and a confirmation for me regarding a personal decision made many years ago.
As some friends here know, part of my family (mother’s side) is Muslim. In my atheist life when I was searching for God, I briefly came to the idea to become a Muslim. The first question I asked myself was “why does my grandmother pray in Arabic?” She didn’t know the language, she was not an educated woman, she had learned those prayers by heart and recited them every day of her life. Did she know what they meant? How can you pray not knowing what your words mean? Then I thought what a selfish religion! What are they trying to do wanting me to pray in their language and not my own? My heart rejected it right there and then.I knew, in my inexperienced life of an atheist born in a communist country, that every Christian I met prayed in their own language. I felt that is only right. Some years later someone told me about Jesus Christ and in that moment my heart said “yes”! Thank you Jesus!
