Israel National News is reporting on the opening of the Temple Institutes Visitor’s center. I find this fascinating, the sneak peek they gave us in the video below is beautiful. It gives an idea of what the disciples were in awe about when they told Jesus to admire the beauty of the Temple. It gives a history of the temple and how the presence of God existed with the Jewish people. I think they should be allowed to build their temple, the Temple mount is their history, their history of the first Temple with King David and Solomon. However unlike most, I don’t believe that this has anything to do with the 2nd coming of the Messiah (Our Lord and Savior). It just doesn’t say that in the Bible. I can’t believe that God would give this as a sign to the world that His son was returning. The renewal of sacrifice? Really? His son Jesus was the ultimate sacrifice for our sins. That’s the only sacrifice that should be recognized. I can’t think that God would OK or sanction refusing to recognize His sacrifice for us by offering other blood sacrifices for sin. What did Jesus say about this?
See! Your house is left to you desolate; for I say to you, you shall see Me no more till you say, Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!‘
If you believe Jesus was just a prophet or a teacher than this verse doesn’t have much meaning. But if you truly believe that Jesus was the Son of God, part of the Trinity, even God himself as it say’s in John chapter 1, then this verse has astounding meaning. ‘You will see me no more, means just that. It means that until you recognize who I am, you will see me no more! It doesn’t say until 2013 you will be punished and then you can rebuild your temple and start sacrificing, and my presence will reside in your temple again.
After the disciples marveled about the beauty of the buildings of the Temple Jesus said to them, ‘Do you see all these things? I tell you the truth, not one stone here will be left on another; every one will be thrown down.’
‘Now it was about the sixth hour, and there was darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour. Then the sun was darkened, and THE VEIL OF THE TEMPLE WAS TORN IN TWO. And when Jesus had cried out with a loud voice, He said, Father, into your hands I commit My spirit.’ Having said this, He breathed His last. So when the centurion saw what had happened, he glorified God, saying certainly this was a righteous man! And the whole crowd who came together to that sight, seeing what had been done, beat their breasts and returned.’
If you know anything about the veil of the temple you know that this was the entrance to the Holy of Holies that only the High priests could enter.
Here is what wikipedia tells us of the Holy of Holies:
The Holy of Holies was hidden by a veil, and no one was permitted to enter except the High Priest, and even he could only enter once a year on the Day of Atonement, to offer the blood of sacrifice and incense before the mercy seat. In the wilderness, on the day that the tabernacle was first raised up, the cloud of the Lord covered the tabernacle. There are other times that this was recorded, and instructions were given that the Lord would appear in the cloud upon the mercy seat (kapporet), and at that time the priests should not enter into the tabernacle (Leviticus 16:2). According to the Hebrew Bible, the Holy of Holies contained the Ark of the Covenant with representation of Cherubim. Upon completion of the dedication of the Tabernacle, the Voice of God spoke to Moses “from between the Cherubim”. (Numbers 7:89).
Do you see the parallel above in the Holy of Holies, Jesus’s crucifixion paralleled this to a tee. Jesus became the High Priest, it is even written in the Bible ‘If perfection could have been attained through the Levitical priesthood (for on the basis of it the law was given to the people), why was there still need for another priest to come-one in the order of Melchizedek, not in the order of Aaron? For when there is a change of the priesthood, there must also be a change of the law.’ (Hebrews 7:11-12)
If God had intended this temple to be rebuilt with the Holy of Holies where His spirit will rest, He wouldn’t have destroyed it when Jesus died. This new temple should not be a mile marker for the return of the King of Kings! Jesus would have said that! He didn’t say that when He gave us the signs to watch for. This come from some misinterpreted verses in Daniel. I know I will take a lot of heat for that, but that’s what God gave me, search it for yourself. When the Bible makes plain sense no other sense is needed!
If the 3rd Temple is built it will be to unite the Jewish people, Christians, and muslims so that the false (Jesus) mesisah can claim that Christians were lied to, the Bible is wrong, and we should all come and worship there with that god. So Christians and Jews beware, we are about to witness the false messiah, and the beast spoken of by John in Revelation, and the false christ (abomination of desolation) spoken about by Daniel the prophet.
If you still have questions I urge you to read Romans start with chapter 9 through chapter 11. It explains this in great detail. Chapter 11 explains how we are grafted into Israel’s roots. All of Israel will be saved according to the apostle Paul. But he say’s he doesn’t want us to be ignorant of this MYSTERY, so that we may not be conceited, Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of gentiles has come in and so all Israel will be saved as it is written:’The deliverer will come from Zion; he will turn godlessness away from Jacob, and this is my covenant with them when I take away their sins.
Now I know these next verses will draw condemnation but this is God’s words from the new testament through his apostle Paul. But here it is:
‘Concerning the gospel they are enemies for your sake, but concerning the election they are beloved for the sake of the fathers. For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable. For as you were once disobedient to God yet have now obtained mercy through their disobedience, even so these also have now been disobedient, that through the mercy shown you they also may obtain mercy. For God has committed them all to disobedience, that He might have mercy on all.’
These chapters in Romans helped me to answer all my questions about Israel, and even the old testament. I prayed about this for years because I couldn’t understand why Israel and even the old testament were relevant to us today, and then one day God led me through Romans, and the lights went off, complete with fireworks, and the understanding flowed like a clear spring! I have been working on writing this post for days. I prayed, God I don’t want people in Israel to think I’m against them, I don’t want them to think I’m condemning them, I don’t want the attacks from the secret rapture police and theologians. But He wouldn’t let me forget about this, so I’m giving you what He gave me. Be a Berean, search the scriptures to find the truth. But if you have to twist even a little or say well this is the interpretation than maybe your forcing it. God will reveal it to you.
